I think they miscalculated. I can't believe the majority of Republicans are on-board with what's happening to the GQP.

In fact, if they listen to their constituents, they would see that many support Biden's policies on the recovery and infrastructure. We are now seeing Republicans who voted against the rescue plan taking credit for many aspects of it. Shouldn't they be highlighted as traitors too? Certainly, many of us see them as hypocrites but surely the republican party cannot support that kind of traitorous speech!

 

I would hope it would ensure that conservatives and moderates would win over populist conspiracy nuts and far left Dems. GQP can remain the "party of Trump" and do whatever the heck they want, but I'll bet the conservative reps and honest moderates are more then happy to get the heck out of that party. Likewise there are many Dems who would be happy to get out of "party of Pelosi & fringe left".

 

By ousting Liz Cheney today Kevin McCarthy just declared that his Dirty Donald GOP is now the official party of LIARS and CHEATS who are intent upon destroying DEMOCRACY in the USA.

 

Cheney's primary fault seems to be she believes Joe Biden is President.

 

Not compared to what a third party would do.

You don't live in the US, so you probably never heard of "New Democrat Coalition", which has 94 members in the Dem party. They are described as "pro-economic growth," "pro-innovation," and "fiscally responsible, or just "socially liberal and fiscally conservative". Most conservatives describe their views in same manner, as do most American voters. If there was a new party (conservative leaning moderate party) as I described, then people who share that view would naturally be happy to leave the conspiracy nut GOP, or far-left factions of their old parties. Such new party would become more powerful than the GOP and Dems, and would rule the Congress, and probably the White House.

Why is telling the truth considered an "attack" among the populist circles? Its like lying is the only acceptable thing to do.

 

Must be why democrats are attacking it relentlessly and taking them to court to stop them.

A disease caused massive unemployment. Trump did not raise the debt (Democrats love packing on more debt anyway) more than did Obama and Biden wants that record.
