If you refuse the vaccine, you don't matter. It's the people you infect that matter!

I have not seen "the government" say that, so I don't know what you're talking about, or why you think that not agreeing with... whatever it was they said... makes you an anti-vaxxer. I think anti-vaxxer propaganda is one of two things: either an immoral act, or a sign of ignorance. Most anti-vaxxers are in the latter group. But the worst spreaders of anti-science disinformation are in the former. This includes the big disinformation super-spreaders like Tucker Carlson and his echo-chamber.

I want to clarify one more time what I mean by "anti-vaxxer". These are the people who spread unscientific anti-vaccination disinformation. If you do not spread such information, you're not an anti-vaxxer (in my opinion). If you do, then you are.

However, this thread is NOT about any of that. It's about some "right" to infect others with a deadly disease that anti-vaxxer pundits fabricated out of the blue, in order to spread disinformation and justify policy that has and will continue to cost human lives.

Rubbish. You could apply the same reasoning to ANY behavior that raises ones risk for hospitalization. This is, frankly, childish reasoning. What are you going to do next, hold your breath?

This thread is about the latter, and not about the former. That is the only "end" I'm looking at this from. The former would be an interesting topic for another thread. Not this one, though.

Because you keep mentioning it. But, if it's now clear that that's not the topic of this thread, we're good.

What people have a right to is choosing to vaccinate against COVID, or not. What morons on the boob-toob or idiot electronics (all sides) spout is either to scare you, demean you or rile your anger at other people. They haven't served a higher purpose, like informing the public of facts with no bias, in decades.

Governors are not saying people cannot or should not vaccinate. They are preventing the morons in DC from demanding people do something that removes that bodily autonomy right.

Well, last I heard the President was the head of our government. Of course, he may not remember that all the time.

Because I have no interest whatsoever in discussing obesity (whether it's an infectious disease or not... which BTW, is a pretty dumb topic) in a thread about Covid.

Yes. You DID make the claim that there is a right to infect others with a deadly disease. It's ok if you changed your mind. Just say it! Get it off your conscience! There is no shame in retracting.

Make up your mind, is there, or is there not a "right" to, as a result of conscious and premeditated negligence, infect others with a deadly infectious disease?

I submitted my arguments (at least twice already) that there is no such right. Despite the fact that it should be obvious and the default position (as per Occam). By all means, do let us know what part of them is wrong. And let me know if you need them repeated. My computer has many cut-n-paste power left still. Looks like yours is running out by quoting ME instead of just telling us straight out what the f... hell your argument in favor of this "people's right to infect others with a deadly disease" originates. Spare us the pseudoscience tactics, please. Your arguments to support your statement will suffice.

Yes, I agree and did agree with the/your OP in the rightness of the vaccine in that it is a great help in the matter. I merely added to your post by considering the opposing view. And concluded that getting the vaccine is the way to go. I'm tired of the division. There is no moral or patriotic high ground in the issue.

How are the lives of others put at risk given those who are vaxed can transmit Covid just as easily as the unvaxed.

Where did you get all this disinformation you’ve posted on Covid?

So why do you keep referencing deadly diseases in your thread if you have no interest in discussing deadly infectious diseases?
After you claimed THERE WAS NO RIGHT in the OP. I have nothing to retract. You do. You made the initial claim on the right to infect others in your OP. I’ve quoted it to you. LOL
Of course there is that right. If there was no such right, we would force healthy diet and exercise on people. We would not allow any public or private gatherings. We would mandate everyone have their Vitamin D levels monitored and supplemented as necessary to prevent spreading infectious diseases.
You have offered an unsubstantiated opinion. I have posted numerous posts detailing diseases such as obesity that we not only have the right to spread, but that right is protected by some state laws and even in many cases by the Americans with Disabilities Act.

No, that is true. Your chance of a chronic hospitalization and/or death from Covid exposure goes way down with a vaccination.

I don't know what you're referring to when you say you perform due diligence. Do you mean following the guidelines of the CDC/WHO/NIH/Fauci is due diligence?
Besides IMO, the CDC/NIH/WHO/Fauci didn't perform due diligence when they concentrated exclusively on number of Covid cases.

I hope you understand that a few people while fully vaccinated will be chronically hospitalized and/or die from Covid exposure but the vast majority of vaccinated will not have either happen.

Do you claim it's "bogus" because you don't believe there are long term effects? Or another reason?

Hmmmm. So obesity in a Covid thread is dumb. Let’s see, 90% of global Covid deaths are in countries where over half the population is overweight. Obesity is associated with a 2-3 times greater risk of hospitalization when infected. Obesity increases risk of detectable infection by about 46%. The obese have higher viral loads and longer viral shedding. Now the obese are showing higher rates of breakthrough infection.

There is a very strong argument that obesity is as big a factor in spread and deaths from Covid as vaccination status. If 90% of deaths are in high obesity/overweight countries there is a 10 times greater risk of dying of Covid in an overweight country as opposed to normal weight countries.

In comparison there is an 11% increased chance of death for the unvaccinated compared to vaccinated.

Still think obesity in a Covid thread is dumb?

The vaccinated spread Covid. Why don't you care about that? Are you a science denier? And, if you are vaccinated you don't have to worry about being around the unvaccinated because the vaccines work, remember?

If they don't interact with anybody who they can potentially transmit the deadly virus to, they do. Otherwise... no.

Anyway... it took a long time, too much running around in circles and a very careful and forced selection of words for you to admit that you believe that there is a right to put the life of other people at risk by being negligent. So it doesn't look like you are very proud of that position.

It's up to the individual to keep themselves safe since vaccinated or unvaccinated, you are at risk

People who refuse to get the vaccine and infect others are negligent. There is no such thing as a "right" to be negligent.

I don't understand why the right is unable to understand the concept of "negligence".

And BTW, no... they cannot transmit Covid "just as easily". But that's different topic for a different thread.

LOL. All those quotes were demonstrated to be false. Very little of what you post is supported by evidence and much of what you post is counter to all existing evidence. Like in this thread, claiming obesity is not contagious.

Obesity is not an infectious disease. But off-topic. If confusing social infections with biological infections was your "reasoning" to conclude that there is a "right" then you have been wasting our time with a ridiculous laughable strawman. And I was right to refuse to discuss such off-topic nonsense.

    Thanks for playing....
