It did. For a while. There was a marked drop off at one point in high end missiles and it wasn't for a lack of potential targets! Instead usage rates had simply exceeded production rates and they'd burned through their stockpile. Now they're stockpiling again (or at least trying to). But importantly there's no sign so far that production rates have increased significantly. To a degree yes, but Russia is not going to burying the Ukrainian defense forces under a continuous avalanche of Kalibrs any time soon. Given its production constraints the longer this war goes on the closer Russia is to being forced into fighting it 'old school'.

Well then go ahead and tell us that communism isn't a leftist world view, and that the Bolsheviks, Lenin, Stalin and Putin are great examples of conservative Republicanism.

Otherwise you just didn't like it because it hurt your feelings.... because it's true.

Trump was the one smart enough to understand that the egos of maniacs enjoy stroking.

That's why he's the only President in history to be invited to cross into North Korea peacefully.

It's why he destroyed terrorists and the world was blessed by years of peace sandwiched between democrat weakness leading to world conflicts.

It's why he understood kind words backed up by carrying a large stick is the only way peace is maintained.

You didn't answer the question I asked.

All you did was reinforce the truth of everything I said.

Dude you literally vote for people that support Hamas.

Funny how the only time we haven't had problems with terrorists, Iran, Russia, etc was 4 years out of the last 15.

Weakness invites aggression, and the left is as weak as they come.

Oh you don't vote for Democrats? You don't vote for the same people that Hamas supporters vote for?

    I'm not the liar.

you said I voted for Hamas supporters, now your trying to move the goal post

even Israel supported Hamas at one time, but no one should support Hamas after what he did to Israel

"For years, Netanyahu propped up Hamas. Now it’s blown up in our faces"

LoL. Right. Netanyahu made the people of Gaza vote in a terrorist group as their government......which....as their government, Netanyahu had to communicate with.

This nut job author should get her head checked.

She would get her head checked by Hamas if it wasn't for the conservatives in Israel.

well done... finally someone's seen the elephant in the room...exactly....there is no "victory" here for anyone. Mikeypoohs whole aim is the continuation of the Kremlin's "Oh...please just let us win!!" narrative because that's what he wants to see.

The cold war never ended, it just "cooled down" for a bit. We have been at war with them since WW2. A shooting war? not directly, very often. But war none the less.

If you don’t know how a war is going to be won or lost you are hardly the only one. Nobody does.

you seem to take the uncertainty of it as justification for not supplying Ukraine when the nuts and bolts of that war haven’t changed: Russia is illegally trying to conquer a country, has committed atrocities and war crimes in doing it, there’s no reason it will stop with just Ukraine, and its success or failure is highly likely to impact other theatres including China and N.Korea.

At the end of the day Ukraine is the one doing all the fighting and dying and suffering and it’s strange to me how anyone could run out of patience with the war long before they do.

The West does need strategy. Sanctions and supplies, intelligence sharing and training are all well and good but are all time consuming and indecisive. Unfortunately they lack the unity, coordination and backbone to do anything different, ironically giving Russia a clear strategy to win and that is simply to last longer than Western countries have the patience for. We’ve given them plenty of good reason to think so, Afghanistan being the most recent one.

I think what you are saying is that Russia is losing, badly. The lines have barely moved all year. It's pretty clear that the war is stalemated and I don't see a path for Ukrainian victory sans direct NATO intervention. If you see something else...let's hear it.

So it isn’t a shooting war, it’s a completely different kind of “war”, making your war comparison and our track record at it by citing actual shooting wars like Afghanistan a completely inaccurate one.

Make accurate comparisons to make your points. Not inaccurate ones

This war started out badly for the Russians and what looked like a fairly simple overthrow of the Kiev regime, turned into a bloody World War I style stalemate. But where we are right now is that Russia has captured the ethnic Russian territories that it wanted, as well as holding a good deal of other Ukrainian territory, and I don't see a military solution to Ukraine getting those territories back.

If I understand your argument, Russia's goals to take all of Ukraine were not achieved so therefore Russia is the big loser. However I look at the map and I see Russia holding quite securely a lot of Ukrainian territory that much of it Ukraine is simply not going to get back. Putin can easily declare "victory" with what he has already, and for Ukraine it's a total loss. I admire your upbeat optimism for the Ukrainian cause, but it's simply not reflected on the battlefield or anywhere else.

Just as an aside, I see your statement as a key part of the difference between people who seem to think the US can push Ukraine to victory and those of us (like me) who think it's a lost cause. I don't think the US is a superpower any longer. A great power? Yes, but it's not 1993 when we were without question a hyperpower; THE hyperpower. We've made a lot of poor decisions since then which has left us a much weaker country. We are already having trouble supplying Ukraine with enough weapons and ammo and have had to strip US stores to supply it, and that's only after two years in. We don't have the capability to support even a proxy war, so lord knows what happens if the US gets into a real shooting war. I suspect it will be a humiliating disaster.

Russias goal was....still is to take all of Ukraine and go further.....Mikey.....seems you don't realize this.

"Lucky" for Botox chimp he was short-sighted enough to send just over 150K conscripts to take over 45+ mln peeps....nows he's got 500K dead....over 1 mln injured....and RuZZ Fed in real danger of dissolving further.

Putlerstan barely has 50% control over occupied territory with vengeful partisans.

UAF has crossed over multiple battalions on East side of Dnipro....with the aim of advancing on Crimea.....that's getting hit daily now.....Mike.
