If the Biden Administration was replaced today how long would it take for the US to revive?

Anyone else, and I'm thinking Trump and like-minded responsible citizens would:

    Cut massive pointless expenditure:
There is a bill to send 95 billion dollars in military aid to other parts of the world.
If it's just dollar bills so they can recruit and pay lots more military personnel, if it's
weapons it costs the US taxpayer and gets people in other countries killed.

The cost is bad for our economy and the destruction of other countries is harming our
    reputation.

Trump made being President look easy, Biden has shown how easy it is to to get it
    completely wrong.

if Trump replaces Biden, the chaos could destroy the US to a point it can't revive

Trump raised the debt more than any President in history, almost twice in 4 years what Obama did in 8 years

imagine giving Trump 4 more years... America would be looking to go BK

I realize reps run on spending cuts, but once they are in power, they spend just like Democrats.

There's no single answer to that question.

Some of the damage Traitor Joe and the Babeuvian Illiterati around him have done to the country is likely permanent.

On the other hand, much of that damage was caused by EOs that can be rescinded with the swipe of a pen and can be reversed rather quickly.

Why does the US need reviving? The economy is solid, unemployment very low, wages rising faster than inflation, inflation almost under control, stock market near record highs, prospects for the Fed lowering the interest rates sometimes later this year are good, gas prices are back to where they were before covid when adjusted for inflation.... Overall, the US is doing better economically than almost all other developed countries.

Now, I realize that the "news" sources you consume tell you that the economy is terrible. What would Trump do about it? Another tax cut for the corps, exploding the deficit even further?

In any case, cutting the $95 billion to Israel and Ukraine will make ZERO difference.

If its military aid to be sent to the rest of the world, wouldn't that create jobs here in the US?

The first thing that comes to my mind is that Trump would surely have a significant reduction in the numbers coming from the Southern Border.

What is occurring now is economically unsustainable, and it needs to be curtailed yesterday.

This would be an ENORMOUS step in the right direction. This issue alone is enough to justify getting Democrats out of power.

4 years of Trump won't undo the damage. It would take at least 40 years of non-stop republican presidents to fix all the damage done by the Biden Crime Syndicate and his band of thugs!

I agree that immigration needs to be tackled -- with a bipartisan deal. I wonder why Trump is blocking it.

As to the influx of immigrants, we currently have almost 9 million job openings.

    https://www.reuters.com/markets/us/us-job-openings-fall-moderately-november-2024-01-03/

Without immigrants, there would be even more openings that companies would be unable to fill. I am not saying that the influx of immigrants shouldn't be reduced, but to paint them as the main reason for economic problems is not right. They come here to work and for a better life. Didn't all of our ancestors do the same thing?

I see, the excuses are already being made, if Trump gets elected. If the economy won't improve, it's because Biden did too much damage. Isn't that convenient?

Trump increase unemployment by 30%. He added more to the debt in 4 years than Obama did in 8. Crime increase by 30%. Average GDP growth was 1.5%, - the worst in over 100 years. The country was mired in total chaos by the time he finally walked away.

Yea, he made it look easy, because wrecking things is not hard.

Typically they spend more. As soon as Trump was in office and GOP controlled the House, they cut taxes and hiked spending, and deficits skyrocketed immediately. Rand Paul said the US does not have a conservative party when GOP is in power, and he called it "the very definition of hypocrisy"

Deep down, you too know that Trump would reduce border jumpers far more than Biden, if for no other reason than Trump truly wants it reduced while Biden does not. Do we REALLY need to go through the pointless exercise of arguing whether the supposed Border proposal is anything other than an election year scheme that nobody honestly thinks would have any chance at passage in the house.

Bills are passed/proposed all the time in one chamber or the other that have no chance of passing the other chamber. These are undeniably about optics rather than an honest attempt at passing legislation. This particular one is not any different. Deep down, you know this too.

As far as immigrants and job openings. Lets not blur the line between legal and illegal immigration, or even asylum claims for that matter. They are entirely different animals.

I won’t argue the point about needing some immigrants, but we need to monitor who is getting in here and control their numbers. We don’t need more terrorists, criminals and organized crime members. They need to be kicked out of the country. During the “golden age of immigration “ in the last century, people had to go through Ellis Island and other check points. The undesirables were denied entry.

You also need to bear in mind that many of these people have low skills and are not that employable. The cities are at a breaking point. They can’t keep taking this number of people, especially when they are unvetted.

The OP says "REVIVE". He doesn't narrow down the economy. Biden has caused way more problems than economic ones. So I stand by my post, I do not think Trump can fix all of that in 4 years, NOBODY CAN!

The biggest fear I have is from the sleeper cells of terrorists Biden has let into the country with his open borders. We have no idea who has entered the country. That are also concerns about “lone wolf” attacks from crazy radicals.

Beyond that, the education system, which has been hobbled by Covid. No we have huge influxes of kids who can’t speak English. That combined with their sheer numbers is very concerning.

Unfortunately, severe damage has been done. Biden's inflation is already cooked into the books and reversing their policies will not reset the light switch back to where things were. But, at least we can stop the insanity of going downhill even further.

Yeah but the influx if unskilled illegals, Chinese spies, and terrorists, are not going away with a stroke of a pen. We'll be dealing with this border mess for decades to come. So yeah it is more or less permanent damage.

Biden's inflation? How do you figure that? You know that the fact that has already been pointed out that the US is doing much better than most countries with inflation. Did Biden cause their inflation also?
I listen to right wing radio at work and come here and read the same unsubstantiated crap. Almost word for word.

Please, enlighten us with the "democrat" financial problems.
And the social problems (because the right has been wrong all along so far).

Using draconian methods, just like when he separated children from their parents, only he has plans for even more unholy acts. No thanks.

Nobody ever claimed that the left wouldn't do their darndest to excuse away their gigantic failure on the border.
