When I quoted: ""In the United States, civil courts have the authority to resolve disputes between individuals or entities, excluding criminal matters." you said that we were in violent agreement. Then you go on to say the CIVIL COURT "made the find of rape and swindling". Well which is it? You can't have it both ways.
Yes I can. In the E.J. Carrol case, Humpty*** was found to have raped her. In the 'Engoron' Trial, he*** was found to be a swindler and ordered to pay sqillions as a consequence of his systematic fraud, and the same Judge, Engoron, made the finding of 'bordering on pathological.' *Rapist *Swindler *Bordering on pathological
Well, Accepting feedback about one's country can be a learning experience. Reality is that this country is far from perfect... and recognizing that is important....otherwise one is deluding oneself.
in some ways this country has isolated itself. It has become very insular. What happens then is that it becomes it's own echo chamber..... . Trump , coming on the scene has reinforced that. He has been abusive to many good nations ( democratic ones) but favors the Dictators. This has seeped through into attitude's. Those of us who have lived in other nations have a different perspective about things. and have gained appreciation for various cultures , ideas , systems etc......... and the fact that each nation has positive qualities and negative ones.......but exposure to them broadens ones' horizons.
Trump gave us cheaper gas, less inflation, a stronger military, a more secure border, no new wars... all those things helped me and my family become safer and more prosperous. I don't care if he screws aardvarks. If he's good for my family... he gets my vote. He can sit in the darks and play solitaire with imaginary cards if he wants. As long as he makes my family safe and prosperous.
Yes. that seems to be the way many of T's supporters feel and think. That is certainly their choice.

He CAN shoot someone on fifth AVE..........and not lose a supporter. So, they just ignore the unpleasant facts and live in their Trump Bubble / echo chamber. He says HE is being PERSECTED. They believe him . The word is actually PROSECUTED...... And as long as he gets away with it.... they will admire him even more.
Trump favors dictators? Huh? What? Explain that absurdity. Many nations have great qualities. Others don't. Countries are like people... there are some great ones... and some bums.
Yes. that seems to be the way many of T's supporters feel and think. That is certainly their choice.
So you would vote for a candidate that made life HARDER for your family? Really? Why?
So is ours. So, how can guns be the problem? BTW, you had more massacres since the gun ban than before the gun ban in the same time period.
Oh no, we're definitely not in the majority. Just larger than you may think from a foreign perspective.
Of course. But there is no doubt that Australia is a strong ally of the U.S. and has gotten involved with us in some of our wars. Perhaps one day we will learn to give up the perceived role of planetary police force. One can only hope.
I rarely agree with you but you have nailed it here. The thread is silly. Australia and the U.S. are allies and have been for a long time. We should act like we understand that.
Interesting that the rest of the world's countries' populations know all about the US, but the US population knows little to none about the other countries in the world.
And this was one of our concerns with the Trump administration - we were not deemed a strong ally during that time
Indeed. As were other established allies. Trump treated the dictatorships better than US allies. Ordinarily, I would say, given the source.....pay no heed. The issue is that Trump loves power and when in power can do some destructive things to relationships.
That has been a fact for a long time. It suggests an intensive degree of narcissism. Attitude of superiority, and diminishing other nations as if irrelevant. The other nations are relevant only if they are useful to the US. A current example is Ukraine. That little nation is a democracy and is fighting to retain that system. It alone has no chance against its aggressive neighbor. The US is in a position to help...but is too busy playing political chess and party power plays to do what would be constructive and helpful . As many say ."why should they bother?" If they have to ask that question...... that tells you all you need to know. But nations are finding ways around the US and that is probably for the best. It is unfortunate as if the US wants to truly be a good world leader , it means a lot more than military might.
And why is it stronger with Biden in office? No need to answer. The answer is political ideology. Trump never took you to war.
Here is the latest Planet America. Deals with the Hush Money trial, Arizona abortion, Election polling and The Speaker/FISA. A good watch. https://iview.abc.net.au/video/NC2407H010S00
