Hey, how is the situation in Iran? Is there much talk about the death sentence passed down yesterday? What was the people's reaction like?
Thanks, Neda, and I hope you enjoy Mr. Adams' story. The independence and freedom that Americans enjoy today is a product of the courage and persistence of men like Samuel Adams. You all have no shortage of courage, that's for sure - just be persistent, and keep your eyes on the prize. History and Time is on YOUR side. :)
Neda - I just got through reading through the first page of Saaed's outstanding blog. Great stuff - thanks for the tip!
Thanks, Neda - if you have anymore, let me know. As for political developments in your country, remember that these things can take quite a bit of time to unfold. On must be both persistent and patient in situations such as this - change of this magnitude rarely comes quickly and easily. Take for instance, the man who is pictured in my avatar - Samuel Adams, the man who is considered by many as the chief intellect and ideologue of the American Revolution. He spent years and years tirelessly and relentlessly pressing for our freedom and independence even when many around him had given up or wavered on the endeavor, but he never quit. If you have some free time, you might want to read about the career of this great revolutionary - you might find some inspiration, guidance and perhaps similarities to yourself in his story: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samuel_Adams If you ever have any info you wish to convey in confidence, feel free to send me a Private Message. Do you have any advice or suggestions on what, if anything, your supporters abroad can do to help? If anything comes to mind now or in the future, let me know.
Hi Neda. I am definitely interested. If you have any English-language news sites, blogs, etc. that you recommend, please let me know. It's been extremely hard to follow events inside Iran since the media crackdown.
Hi Neda - It took me a while to get a hang of how the messaging systems work around here, too. Click on View Conversation and then send your reply - that way our messages reach us at each of our User Control Panels. I just wanted to wish you and your fellow Iranians well, and let you know that your supporters around the world have not forgotten you. I hope you'll stick around and let us know how you all are doing and if there is anything we can do to help. In solidarity, Talon
