Would you say, Arabs treat Jews much better then the Jews treat Arabs?

Of course I do when they use such hateful methods of vilifying, applying double standards and to attempt to delegitimize Israel. As you yourself have said, that these methods are perfectly fine to use against Israel yet refuse to state why it is alright so we can only surmise it is because of a basic hatred of Jews as you have yet to say it is because you deem Arabs to be worthy of this sort of bigoted attention.

I see so the reason you call anyone who criticizes Israel a Jew Hater is because of your perceptions of yourself, rather than truth! Makes perfect sense. Thing is that is not how the world thinks of you. I think of Israeli's as Israeli's and not what race/religion/ ethnic group they are.

The US State Department uses this as a method of gauging antisemitism. Strange that you too feel that demonizing, delegitimatizing and applying double standards is perfectly fine only when a nation is composed of primarily Jews.

Or is it because they have a one quarter population of Arabs?

Again Drew, I was merely using your silly little ideas, I never said for one minute I agreed with you!, but still you do not explain why Jew Hater not Israeli Hater. I think it is because Israeli Hater does not have all the connotations of persecution that Jew Hater has, it is all to do with sympathy and portraying Israel as a victim.

Israel is at war with Palestine, a war which Israel did not declare rather the Palestinians did so there is no expectation that they would treat people in occupied lands any better than an enemy under occupation would have been treated at any time in history.

A perfect example of applying double standards which, as we all know is one of the pillars that antisemitism uses to carry it's hateful message.

If you hate Israel then you hate all Israelis. So, you hate the Arabs in Israel or just the Jews? Do you feel that both the Arabs and the Jews should not be living there or they both have the right to live in this land as members of a Jewish nation? Do you feel that they should be judged as any other nation should be judged and those same standards should be applied to all other nations?

Well I see that your main problem is with your skill at perceiving what people are. If you did have that capability you would have studied me a little more and my post history to find out that I'm in fact a catholic French Canadian and not an Israeli Jew. You record in this thread is abysmal...

Again Drew, this is about your opinions of hate not mine, I do not call people antisemetic or Jew Hater, I only asked why you do?

    Generalizations like that are absurd.

There certainly are horrible governments in the ME. But, suggesting that is because of race is nonsense.

Besides, WE have supported some of these nations. One of the absolute worst is Saudi Arabia, and they have lived on western petrodollars for a very long time and continue to have major US support.

All those pics of Bush walking hand in hand with the Saudi princes does not indicate that Bush had a different policy toward Saudi.

The same goes in Egypt, where we supported the failed regimes of the past right up to the point where the people held a revolution.

In Iraq, we overthrew SH and installed a government that was WORSE. And, before that, the west carved out its borders along lines that served the west - but not the people who had to live with our result.

In Iran, we overthrew their government. The result was that it took a radicalized revolution for them to take back their government. Now we complain - but, WE were the ones that required that radicalization.

    Etc., etc.

I'm not saying that it's all our fault. But, claiming the problems in the ME are based in the racial inferiority of Arabs is absolute BS.

Thanks I will decide my record in this thread, your opinion is completely worthless in that regard. Sorry for the mistake though, so as a Catholic you think Israeli's are Jews and therefor everyone who argues against them must be Jew haters. I wonder if that is Catholic guilt for the Holocaust?

Not really since my parents fought against Germany, while your side sent the grand mufti to negotiate with hitler how you could go about shipping your Jews to the camps...

Well I see that your main problem is with your skill at perceiving what people are. If you did have that capability you would have studied me a little more and my post history to find out that I'm in fact a Welsh Atheist and my father and grandfather fought in WW2. No Welshman made a concordat with Hitler like the Pope did. The Pope did sit the war out in Axis Italy didn't he?

Sorry you couldn't answer a few simple questions or explain why you feel that it is perfectly fine to use hateful half truths as viable arguments only against Israel. The US state department and I as well as many others know why this is and it isn't simply because the nation is spelt with an 'I.'

The apartheid state has about a 20% Arab population. You might be wary of a particular demographic that occasionally blows up in markets and stabs innocent people.

You might want to be aware that in order to achieve that 80% majority, they ethnically cleansed the indigenous population! It is easy to have a democracy when you kill or expel almost anyone you don't want in your democracy!

I need not explain as you have never ever stated you hate Israeli Arabs which leaves only Jewish Israelis to direct your dishonest argument techniques which you are intent on defending.

    - - - Updated - - -

The official policy of Palestine is to ethnically cleanse all of the land of the Levant by violence. You seem to be ok with that for some reason.

Ethnic cleansing is not a tactic of war.

The rerouting of the "wall" is clearly done for the capture of valuable land. Nations don't capture river valleys and leave the high ground to the enemy if the objective is defense or war.

War does not include the theft of private property for use by one's own citizens.

The blockade against Gaza was set up as punishment for Gaza having voted for leaders associated with Hamas - an act of war that continues to today as punishment against the citizens of Gaza. An act of continuing war to which Israel defines no end and refuses to even discuss an end. That is an humanitarian atrocity similar to terrorism, not a legitimate act of war. In fact, such group punishment against civilians is NEVER legitimate.

Correct so it's a good thing it's not happening.

The wall has saved a lot of Palestinian lives and many Israeli and it is fair to make defensive fortifications in time of war.

Correct. I can hardy wait for the Palestinians to rescind their declaration of war and strike the violent destruction of Israel and thier official policy of ehtnic cleansing of Jews from the Levant so the occupied land can be given to them.

Strange, everybody in the entire world except you knows it was enacted to stop weapons and material to aid the Gaza war effort from reaching Gaza.

Blockades are a legal act of war. Has been for almost eternity and this particular blockade has been deemed legal by the UN.

Except this kind of story is EXACTLY what happens in democracies. Its an ideological dispute being played out in the public forum.

If you can ANY nation that does not qualify for "feet of clay" then please tell us all.

The blockade was put in place as a punishment on the people for having voted wrong. Condi Rice helped with that. It did not have to do with any legitimate military end nor was it erected for protection.

Remember that the blockade prohibits exports. It prohibits people LEAVING Gaza (such as to attend universities). It prohibits fishing in Gaza's waters. It cuts off their electricity. It reduces food and medicine.

These are not national defense issues. They are issues of punishment of the people - just like the stated objective of putting the blockade in place.

Palestine has long stated that Israel is a permanent state. I'm surprised you're so far behind on that - it's been the case for about 15.

Actuality it was in response to the violence brought on by Hamas. Even Egypt blockaded Gaza. Surely you're not going to attempt to make the case that Egypt is punishing the Palestinians in Gaza but if you are, let me know so I can get a bowel of popcorn.

No, it was put in place immediately after their election.

The purpose was to force the people of Gaza to rescind their election, because we didn't like who they voted for.

Condi helped this direction by pushing Egypt to join the blockade - basically as a favor to us.

The violence in Gaza was subsequent to that.

Again, citizens of Gaza leaving Gaza, fishing in their waters, having the electricity to preserve medicine, keep warm, etc., of exporting goods - these are civilian issues. Preventing these elements does not constitute a legitimate step in a war.
