I don't think they base their love or hate upon one's accountants' ability to transform one's disastrous business decisions into an ability to freeload off the taxpayer for decades

Rather, the importance of all presidential candidates' coming clean with the public in such matters so that they can make informed judgements is what is vital.

Let the voter share in the knowledge, and let the voter decide its significance.

Otherwise, they have no choice but to assess any furtive candidate who breaks his repeated promises to release his tax returns accordingly.

Reading your post, it made me wonder… If a businessman rewards his employees with perks, like health insurance, pensions, maybe even some profit sharing or bonuses for good work, and that causes the business to operate at a loss, the businessman could then use that loss as a deduction from his taxes, yes? In doing so, the employees benefit greatly, the businessman benefits from happy employees and a tax deduction, and the social safety nets benefit because those employees wouldn't need them as much due to the perks.

who ran the department of state, oh yeah, the secretary of state, Hillary Clinton, who is running advertisements and making speeches that we shouldn't trust or have faith in someone who loses or wastes almost one billion in a single year... yet she oversaw and directed a department that wastes multiple billions EVERY single year... and you tell me that has nothing to do with this... it has EVERYTHING to do with what you just complained about, if you're outraged over someone losing a billion of his money, shouldn't you be furious with someone who has lost multiple billions of YOUR money? seems to me you have come down with a case of selective-rage... cough cough...

we're talking about people who lose close to a billion dollars in a single year under their leadership right? so Trump lost 1 billion in a year, Hillary lost roughly $114 billion in her leadership term... at least the billion Trump lost was investors and his own, Hillary lost OUR money, which we entrusted to her department to use efficiently... I'd say its quite fair to discuss her since we're all outraged at people losing a billion dollars in a single year, she is the leader once again in that race... but I get it, you don't like when we find examples of dear Hillary doing worse than whats thrown onto republicans, we want to excuse her, we want to say its different, she's evolved or something right? lol...

    BTW

You are backing the loser come Nov 8...............How does that make you feel?

And all these phony and false arguments of comparison of unequal's is getting a bit tiring.........

if Trump didnt employ all those people think of how many tax dollars the feds would lose out on.

In this society..... everybody is taxed one way or another. You simply cannot avoid it. Your being taxed right now as you read this.

besides.... Last time I checked the establishment was taking our tax money to funnel to wall street and harvest baby parts.

no we're talking about per the thread topic """Hillary Clinton: 'What kind of genius loses $1 billion in a year?""" which ironic enough is HER at the state department, multiple times over, for every year she held the office... I'm sorry you don't like your dear leader being just as much a loser as Trump... but thats why people like me are important, to point out that the person you're defending and hiding from the SAME accountability is doing the exact same thing to larger degrees but with YOUR money... that should make you even more mad than Trump pissing away his money and investors who willfully bought his stock, because you had no choice when the government took your taxes...

P.S. isn't it amazing all you've done so far is attempt to slam Trump, because you can't defend my statements against Hillary, because you know they are true, and you are turning a willful blind eye to your logic being applied right back onto her, and she fails your own logic tests... way to show this has NOTHING to do about morals and values, and all you're concerned with is gaining power... (and since you are interested in who I was voting for, I've stated in numerous other threads who I would have voted for, if it was Bernie vs Trump, I'd have voted for Bernie, but since its Hillary, I have no choice but to vote for Trump, because Hillary shouldn't even be standing on the stage because the democrats corruption and power hungry mentality screwed him out of a fair and equal shot, you believe in equality right, then how can you support Hillary?)

If you look closely you will see the colon...........which means this is what HRC said...........and here again with phony augment...........

    What your argument days is:

Since HRC lost money in the State department (of questionable value as fact)......

Justifies Donald Trump doing the same.........

This is the argument used a 5 yr old and the cookie jar..............

just because one person was quoted saying it, doesn't mean the irony they also perpetrate the same thing isn't valid to the discussion, its quite relevant... if someone accusing others of doing something wrong, does it themselves, then its critical to the discussion about how much importance do we place upon this topic, and in her case, its even MORE important since the money was not private money willfully invested in a business, it was taxpayer money TAKEN from people against their will under penalty of law... so I think its even MORE important that she herself is guilty of the very thing she is attempting to say is something important we should focus on... its just super ironic that the very thing she attempts to say makes one person unqualified for leadership, happens to be something she has done on a grossly larger scale... funny...

P.S. to give you an analogy, its like when Hillary demonizes the Koch brothers for spending hundreds of millions on elections, but then she turns a blind eye to George Soros who is spending hundreds of millions on elections... either its wrong or its right, you can't have selective rage based merely on if you gained an advantage from it... but like I said, liberals aren't worried about morals and values or Hillary wouldn't even be running today, they are only concerned with gaining power through corruption...

whats the flaw, just because you don't like it, doesn't make it flawed... the thread topic deals with someone accusing another candidate of being unqualified because they lost a billion dollars in a single year from PRIVATE investors and personal wealth, so its completely fair and quite logical to hold accountable the candidate making the accusation that makes someone unqualified for their own billion dollar losses when using PUBLIC money for which they want you to entrust them with again, its perfectly reasonable to want to hold that person accountable to their own logic... you're just upset that someone pointed out the accuser, is in fact the abuser...

    . Milton Hershey

Milton Hershey always knew he could make candy, but running a successful business seemed just out of his reach. Although he never had a formal education, Hershey spent four years apprenticing in a candy shop before striking out on his own in Philadelphia in 1876.

Six years later, his shop went under, as did a subsequent attempt to peddle sweets in New York City. Hershey then returned home to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where he pioneered the use of fresh milk in caramel productions and founded the successful Lancaster Caramel Company.

In 1900 he sold the caramel company for $1 million so he could focus on perfecting a milk chocolate formula. Once he finally nailed the recipe down, he was too rich (and too flush with delicious chocolate) for anyone to remember the flops of his early candy ventures
