Yes. The lazy hipocracy so easily found in American politicians from Trump on down is absolutely disgusting.

We even have politicians who have been strong deniers of COVID even being an issue now jumping ahead of health care workers in order to get vaccinated!!

My own view is that we need stiffer laws HERE, not weaker laws in some other country.

It's the US that has failed and continues to fail spectacularly.

I understand many people want anyone who doesn't share their apparently living in a constant state of terror to die to prove your constant terror is real. I fully disagree with you about covid-19, but there are hundreds of other threads on that topic. I can't think of one politician who had denied it is an issue. Rather, there are politicians who do believe the solution is national economic suicide and suspending the Bill Of Rights for which every governor and mayor can unilaterally act as fully independent tyrants declaring martial law and that they have absolute power over everyone - destroying whoever they want to and making richer whoever they want to - meaning destroying the million class merchants while making the richest people and corporations in the history of the human race becoming richer faster than ever - Jeff Bezos it's been another billion in his pocket every 3 days.

I wish American rioters and protesters who engaged in criminal vandalism would suffer 100 times more than her. Were any of them tested negative - twice - before violating all covid-19 restrictions? No. But you're ok with that, aren't you? Here's what matters. Obviously you must never be leaving your home since everything can be ordered online. As long as you never leave your home, you'll be safe. But if you do, by your standards you should be imprisoned and suffer terribly from it by your own judgment. Nothing indicates she wasn't wearing a mask and social distancing.

Everyone who comes here illegally or over stays a VISA should be imprisoned for coming to our country, breaking our laws. You do agree with that, don't you? They broke our laws.

This is absolutely false.

And, I would point out that it is also NOT an argument for ignoring science based medicine.

The reason for these limits comes from what we know from science based medicine concerning how viruses (especially this one) spread i a population of humans, and what behaviors slow that spread.

None of that has to do with whether politicians are good at modeling the necessary behavior.

I had 2 brothers in prison. They were strong and managed not to get raped. Many of the weaker people were raped or treated as b*itches and were sometimes traded around to other people in the prison.

They even saw someone almost get raped in jail once.

If you don't understand how easy it is to get mistreated in prison then go educate yourself.
