I provided the fact that absentee voting was increased to a nationwide scale. I've provided the fact that absentee voting leads to more voter fraud. Others on this forum have pointed out that Biden won only one of the bellwether counties, which typically predict the next president. There are a lot of irregularities, including having poll watchers at faraway distances to make their function moot. (1, 2) All of this evidence, all of these facts, don't bend me to believe Biden won, sorry.

Care to explain your thoughts on this? Under Biden I see the economy going swiftly into the toilet. If Trump remains president I see a post covid economic frontier of opportunity. There needs to be a pile of restart money going exclusively to small businesses in low or no interest loans or outright grants. Corporations and banks must be prohibited from putting their hands in the pot.

You are correct about the Economy going into the toilet under Biden - but this will happen regardless of who gets in.

Now OK - as long as massive credit card spending is maintained - things will be fine - what is not to like about money falling from the tree.

But - at some point - money will stop falling from the tree - and then the economic Tsunami will hit .. and it is going to be ugly.

Things were in the toilet prior to Covid - Covid saved us from a major correction - but this salvation was on the back of Massive debt .. the likes of which we have not seen since WW2.

The problem now - vs after WW2 - is that after WW2 - all of Europe was destroyed .. and we were the only game in town left standing .. this was a time when everything was "Made in USA" and we were selling stuff round the world .. the market was ours for the taking.. and we took it .

Now .. everything is made in China .. and after being the only game in town for decades - we are now one of many who are competing on the geopolitical chessboard .. China surpassed the US in purchasing power in 2013

while folks like to focus on China .. India and a few others have the same economic might as the US .. the EU is equal to the US

Our market share has been on a downward spiral for decades .. and rather than spend our loot on infrastucture, technology, education, ramping up our economy for the third millennium .. we spent it on useless wars - whose purpose was merely to maintain and expand the military industrial complex .. who does not serve our interests . . but that of someone else.

If you think it is normal - and that negative interest rates are a good sign - you have been misled (not saying that you think this) .. what this means is that Capital is so scared to invest .. that it is willing to lose money (neg interest + inflation) to be safe.

Once the dust settles -and we figure out what the total debt is .. and whoo whaaa .. the economy starts moving again - there will be an never ending pain in our backside .. you can't get things moving - without interest rates rising - but if the interest rate on our debt rises .. even by a little .. our annual interest payments skyrocket .. it is a nasty catch 22.

On the other side of the fence - Trump waged economic war on the entire world - while he was having a trade war with China. This may go down as the biggest blunder of a US President in Modern History .. but where ever it is ranked .. it was a huge blunder - akin to Hitler fighting a war on two fronts.

Prior to Covid - the world was racing towards a competitor to the US international system of payments - denominated in US dollars - a race that was caused by Trumps blunder - (Using the economic Nuclear Option to enforce unilateral sanctions - threatening to block a nations corps and banks out of the US system of payments for violation)

This set the world on fire - world leaders went banana's -as did the people of these nations. Funny how the Left Media hates Trump so much but were almost completely silent on his biggest blunder... hmmm

They should have been doing segments on "FK You" - detailing how every time we turn around some nation is giving us the middle finger.
Sure they complied with the sanctions .. as they were forced to .. but now is payback time.

Imagine for a moment - you are a purchaser - international contract. One of the bidders is the nation who has "messed with your sovereignty" as so many leaders of the world put it - not in private - but publically on the world stage .. and there are protests in the streets - small but folks are pissed ... as are the political leaders of your nation.

We have lost the middle east - China /Russia will be rebuilding Syria -Iraq - Iran. Oman and Qatar have good relations with Iran
Turkey ? they play both sides of the fence .. hardly a nation we can consider in our camp.

Saudi Arabia for now is in our camp - but - China is now their biggest customer - and I believe they now utilize the Petro Yuan.

Central and South America - some of these nations are considering belt and road. Obviously Venezuela will be rebuilt by China/Russia.
Brazil ? They are in their own world - and will do what is best for them - they are not in our camp and are one of the main players in introducing a competitor to the US dollar.

and now we have come full circle. The day that there a valid competitor/alternative to the "SOLE" US international system of payments - is the day the history books will record as the defacto end of the US Economic Empire .. Full Stop. Covid seems to have made things move even quicker on this front --in a strange way.

Having "Sole" status is what allows us to borrow so much at low interest rates.

It is not that the world was not already moving towards an alternative - especially after the 2008 crash .. but - even thing things were moving at a relatively slow pace - real steps - but mostly baby steps .. so Trump is not all to blame here .. but - he did give the world a reason to move faster - which is something they were waiting for.

I am very interested in what Biden will do - but find it unlikely that he will be able to slow this train much - and there is no such thing as stopping it.

 

Because of the Demographic Time bomb - which will eventually cause Red to moderate if the Party hopes to win much going forward.

I would clam that many on the Red side already see this writing on the wall. The party needs to distance themselves from the religious right .. not completely but - get them out of policy - "Anti Abortion - Anti Gay " is not the path to victory.

Fortunately for Red.. Blue is now so bad - that the sins of Red are muted .. so they don't have to moderate that much. Trump was Stupid to bring abortion to the fore-front. .. Red wants this deep in the closet as it can get ..this was kind of an unspoken rule in previous elections.

Blue has gone batty - They used to be anti war -or at least pay lip service to that effect - Blue is now the new Neocon.

Now Blue has been an anathema to Classical Liberalism for a long time - just as Red is an anathema to Republicanism but - the straw that broke this camel's back is that Blue is now "anti Environment" by comparison to Red ..
