You are for banning a gun which is functionally identical to hundreds of other guns which are not considered assault weapon. The only difference is that it looks like a military weapon. No self respecting military would use what we call an assault weapon.

The OP was trying to say that he hated the Constitution because of our right to own and bear arms.

I am not the one who considered it a negative that we have the right to own and bear arms according to the Constitution. At least that would have been what he would have said, if he had not thoroughly screwed it up.

 

I support the 2nd and also support some arms being harder to buy, like machine guns

The point is, just because someone supports banning assault weapons doesn't make them radical, when, in most western nations,
there is no constitutional right to keep and bear arms.

 

The constitution can be amended or completely abolished if we so choose.

That is not the point at all. The point is, given that only three of the western nations have a constitutional right to keep and bear arms, supporting banning assault weapons is not radical.

The point is not the right or wrong of the ban, the point is whether supporting it is radical or not.
