Given that this is what Biden has put into positions of power:
    upload_2022-9-11_21-37-21.png

I have no idea how any American could vote for him and why Russia/China should fear us. Your President advertises America's dysfunction as if he is proud of it.

No MAGA forces? Huh? Proud Boys, QAnon, KKK, The Capitol Invaders etc? And who is it Humpty refers to when he says "MAGA is here to stay" and similar?

I did not think Biden's speech was like a 'war time address.' However, if you thought that, what do you make of the noises Humpty makes all the time but particularly those he made on Jan 6?

A majority of the voters voted Biden in and Trump out and as a result of this, the voter have spoken. Bottom line.

If they had to do the 2020 election all over again, the results would probably be the same.

The story I saw referenced in the post was from Salon (notoriously hyperliberal), and written by someone named Amanda Marcotte.

Much has already been written clearly indicating that many of us (yeah, me, too) don't want Donald Trump to be the "not-Democrat" nominee in 2024. MUCH.

Trump did essentially two things that were of lasting benefit, but only TWO: he kept Hillary Clinton from subjecting the United States to her own sick version of "Obama 2.0" in 2016, and, Trump rebalanced the Supreme Court so that now there is a majority of Justices who are more likely to support the Constitution of the United States AS WRITTEN AND AMENDED... which is the polar-opposite of what it was with the addition of creatures like Sotomayor and Kagan (thanks, Obama).

But now it's time to move on -- time for new blood, new thinking, new alliances, and new Conservative dynamism to flush the governmental 'toilet' and get the America-hating, 'woke' dreck OUT of power. My sig-line below says it all....

With the knowledge of January 6th?? I would bet it would be much more of a landslide for Biden....

That stuff is all cyclical, in another few years, that stuff easily change around. IMHO, Trump did highlight of getting more trade restrictions on China and got more people to pay attention to the southern border. His tariffs have lasted on China, but his southern border policy is obviously mired in corruption and ineptness, with the data on wall breaches and Bannon's fraud trial coming up.

One major thing you're forgetting is that people generally LIKE Biden. Trump's mother had to hang meat around his neck so the dogs would play with him

Care to point that out?? I've read it twice and cannot make that connection...

I would certainly agree that Joe's speech had little to nothing to do with the poll results...

I always get a giggle from the gullible :)

A whole whopping 1,003 interviewed :) Anyone naive enough to believe that poll ONLY polled and called 1,003 is a fool being fooled..
Most Americans see Trump's MAGA as threat to democracy: Reuters/Ipsos poll | Reuters

I'm sure the propagandist worked REAL hard fetching those numbers :)

Ill note that you used one poll from fivethirtyeight, and the other Gallup. You went out and sought the sources you feel enforce your point, finding the data the says what you want it to say.

    This is called confirmation bias.

I already posted a link from another source that proved that your claims are not accurate.

    Thats not true.

As of today (updated graph), Biden's approval is .5% higher. With the margin of error, that is essentially equal.

I don't give a rat about who people like.

Who people like, who they feel "happy" with or any other subset of emotional datums equate to exactly zero in terms of impacting my life.

Why some people are so caught up in the 'feels is beyond me.

Give me the person that does the job that best impacts my day to day life and the life of the most Americans. The rest is meaningless.
