Government regulates heterosexual couples, not on individual, it is setting rules, accountability and benefits, to encourage heterosexual couple to be engage in responsible sex relationship formerly known as marriage.
Since gay relationship does not require any government involvement, any public benefit you provide to gay couples is an unconstitutional special privilege.

If it’s totally natural then the rates would be consistent. But they’re not. If you go by generations and look how they’re identifying, literally 1 in 5 kids now are LGBT. That’s INSANE. The human race would never have survived if 20% of the population never procreated. This is a 1st world phenomenon and it’s spiked with social media. It’s NOT natural. They may talk about who will be the one to use BC, IE condom or pill or some other means.
But what one uses as BC is up to the person using it.

Literally 20% of the population is LGBTQ? I think your numbers are way way off. Tops is about 10% for LGBTQ, which encompasses a lot of non hetero crowd.

Where do you get the idea that gays or trans or other in the LGBTQ crowd can't procreate? They certainly can if they choose to. Being gay doesn't stop one from have sex with the opposite sex. Heck, many gay people married opposite sex people before it became acceptable for them to be gay and they had to hide it.

As the LGBTQ people have become more accepted, more have come out of the proverbial closet.
