This video is not a bad video. But what I totally disagree with is indoctrination of our children. This video has zero to do with math. Why is it even present in a math class? I believe this is public indoctrination and should be stopped. There should be punishments for teachers or schools that push this crap and is also why I support the school voucher program.

 

Indoctrination isn't bad. We are all indoctrinated.

It is fine to not like a specific point of view being pushed, but we shouldn't pretend like "indoctrination" is a bad thing. it is fundamental to the existence of civilization.

 

It deserves no place in schools. Specially math class. It’s like allowing church to be taught in class.

 

I agree math wasn't the right class for it. I wouldn't have a problem with it being in a social studies class.

 

Man, the OP sure LOVES to make threads about LGBT stuff a lot, a whole lot actually since that's the second one made in the span of half an hour and the 3rd one since yesterday.

Anyway, social studies would a better class to spring this on kids than math. At least that's more closely tied in with the subject.

time and place, be like dissecting a pig in math class would be wrong... but ok in a science class

 

This stuff should not be in schools period. The left eliminated Thanksgiving in school, they eliminated Christmas in school, and instead they give an entire month to select groups of people. They even gave a full month to Asians and Pacific Islanders. Do you want to take any guesses at who doesn't have a month of their own?

can any of you elite, high and mighty liberals tell me what benefit the class gets by watching a PRIDE video? Like how is that gonna help their career? What about people into different alternative lifestyles, like BDSM for example. Do they get a MONTH for it? Is it taught in schools? Yeah, we saw that same attitude with that union president. While teachers and admins always say it's about the children, Randy Whinegarden literally said she would care about the children when they start paying union dues. So there's that.

 

Well, if you care about all the other months dedicated to certain groups, then not recognizing the largest and most successful group in this country doesn't seem inclusive, and I know how important being inclusive is among certain people.

Don't you expect your kid to be actually learning math in a math class ?

 

I already said it shouldn't have been shown in math classs, Social studies would have been fine though
