Special Counsel Robert Hur says Biden 'willfully' kept classified documents but won't be prosecuted

the PRA is the ARCHIVING and KEEPING of the records. It is about what must be retained. It has absolutely NOTHING to do with protecting Trump over his stealing of classified data

If it's all gratuitous cheap shots, the Whitehouse can release the transcript so the public can decide for themselves if the "butthurt rhetoric" is accurate. It's not like we don't see evidence of his mental state daily as it is.

 

Look at it this way, anyone with an objective critical processing ability, knows full well what no corrupt criminal intent is and what throwing a gratuitous partisan bone is. The transcript request is a red herring of desperation much like the Comer House "got ya" fail.

 

So you don't think it's in Biden's best interest to release the transcript? At the very least it might prove that Hur was full of **** when he said the old man has lost his marbles. Right? Seems like the desperation is coming from your side trying to deny what many of us could see before he even started his term.

 

If Biden is sharp enough to stand trial and no charges are recommended post presidency, Hur will have some explaining to do in front of Congress. That should be a very interesting hearing,

 

I think you are grasping at partisan straws and running down a partisan rabbit hole with the transcript. He's vindicated and Hur took a cheap shot because he could not make a case. He threw Trump "followers" a bone to choke on.

 

I'm not grasping at anything nor going down holes. I can see why one side thinks it was a smear job. But if that really was the reason he recommended no charges, there really isn't any nice way of saying it. It doesn't make sense to me anyway why that would allow him to skate since he was younger when he committed his crimes and didn't have such diminished faculties then.

 

But you seem unable to grasp that Hur could not find corrupt criminal intent and was left with an unprofessional gratuitous smear as his only partisan bone for MAGA to choke on. As for diminished, he isn't qualified to make that determination. If this is where you're hanging your hat, you are going to be very surprised in November.

And, you are admitting it doesn't make sense. And you do know why, Hur's excuse is not a legal one, it's cover.

 

Yeah, you can't come out and say a guy committed a crime and then come up with excuses why he's not being charged with it.

WASHINGTON, Feb 13 (Reuters) - About half of Americans think President Joe Biden got special treatment when federal prosecutors decided last week they would not prosecute him for allegedly mishandling classified documents, according to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll.

Some 53% of respondents, including 29% of Democrats, in the four-day poll which closed on Monday, agree with a statement that "Biden received special treatment because he is the U.S. president."
