Republicans Openly Welcome the End of Democracy

Seems like a trend



When Republicans announce who they are — we should believe them.

 

Well I don't think that he should imitate Democrats and play their own game but if you say so...

 

If a Democrat had said this, would you have taken it as a joke?

 

I seem to remember when Trump won and had less votes than Hillary, the Democrats were all out to ditch the makeup of America as a Republic, where everyone has a say in who governs them and the laws they must live by and wanted to change America to a Democracy, where if you have three or four big states, you can win every election.

 

Not states, voters.

 

This is the big problem with Liberals. They can only see things one way. They also can't read between the lines. They hear what they want to hear. It's like Trump asking the doctor if there is a way of injecting bleach into the body to kill the virus as they said it does kill the virus. It was a stupid question and one he should have asked the doctor in private, sense he didn't know. But it was a question, not a statement. But the next day the bias news said Trump said you can inject bleach in the body to kill the virus. Next thing you know someone did take it and died.

 

And you actually think that is a legitimate question for a president to ask? On LIVE TV, nonetheless!

 

And this would please Putin et al, to no end. It would confirm what he has been saying about democracy all along.

How tragic that some peple just don't grasp how good they have it .......
If they hate democracy that much......why not leave the country and go where they would be happier , and let the US continue to refine itself as a beacon of Democracy. Democracy is a work in progress. Some are too immature and impatient to tolerate the process.

Sadly.... these peple are totally UN AMERICAN....... and could be considered traitors to the nation. ( and security risks)

 

Indeed. Maybe he should adhere to the legal, ethical and standard norms , as is expected of everyone e4lse.

 

That tells one everything one needs to know about Trump .AND his ever so loyal supporters (no ethics, no standards, no decent values, no respect for the legal system......or other systems that have kept this nation operating )

Does ethics include insulting a group blanketly because they happen to have different political opinions and choices than you?

Maybe if people like you ratchet down the vitriol there might not be so much divisiveness?

 

I've decided to take this stupidity seriously. We've got a couple of horrible candidates for the White House - Biden is way past the age he should
be running and Trump is too old, and just plain insane. If Trump loses, there will be violence from the right. And anyone who did not kiss Trump's ass will
not be safe. If Trump wins, then he will start a retribution against those who did not kiss his ass, starting with those in his own party. We've
seen how stupid humanity can be in these situations so many times throughout history to doubt this will be his end game. Narcissists have ruined
more countries than we can count.

While my wife has passed, I still have close family, and posting here will only endanger them - not to mention it's a grand waste of time - the same thirty
of us have been arguing about the same things for a decade now - no minds have been changed, no problems solved, and the divide has
only gotten worse - the internet is a land of bombastic hyperbole and click-bait stupidity that amplifies hatred to absurd levels. The two sides of our
political system are not that far apart - but the asshats in both parties have fueled the fires to point where 2025 will be a year of violence because
of the very few who scream the loudest on both sides.

There is no reason to be part of it. I have other hobbies that do not contribute to this lunacy.

 

But have you noticed he speaks in actual words not jabberwocky, grunts, groans and blank stares?

Democrats have already done that, and that person you quoted is reading the polls of how Americans feel.

Strange, as your hero and party leader demonizes others just out of sheer renege, savage retribution or political gain. ( mostly without any substance )
If some opinions are or seem a tad harsh........ that might be because reality can be that way too.
One cannot sugar coat the behavior of someone like your hero ..... and have any self respect left.
But each to his own......
It is astounding how ONE man has changed the face of the country , and super influenced a segment of the population....

There is no going back now..... The idea of having a "stong man" in power has taken hold.

And they can make hyperbolic accusations like the op has done but the one thing they can't do is change the reality of what you have said above.
