Wow! That is truly the most pathetic twisted logic I have ever heard to defend the statements coming from a 70 plus year old man. You've outdone yourself!

In fairness, it doesn't take very long to "get to know" most of the participants here.

    Voting is a democratic process.

That's a good point. In a pure democracy, all laws are voted upon by the people, which leaves minorities vulnerable. The difference in a republic is that laws are created by a legislature elected by the people of a specific district or state, giving minorities in those districts a fair shake. That's what the founders intended.

It's even more of a problem with what passes for conservatives today. If Trump says it, it's gospel, regardless of how many facts one produces to the contrary.

Okay, so he didn't say it would work. Cool. But the fact that he had to ask if injecting effing bleach into your body would be good shows incredible stupidity. I get it, though ... Trump has never cleaned anything in his life, as there were always others to clean up after him, so he is probably unfamiliar with disinfectants.

Pot, meet kettle. How many times have you assigned villainous motives to the left that are over the top hateful? I lost count long ago. Take your own advice, please.

When the "competition's leading candidate" is a crook, I see their point in not wanting him on the ballot. However, if Colorado had won that case, absolute chaos would have ensued in every state's primary process.

Fear not ... even if convicted and sentenced, he'll still be on the ballot.

That woman was not running for POTUS, so it's okay if she is stupid or ignorant. Presidents and others in power should be held to higher standards, but as we see daily, that is no longer the case.

    Sigh.

What's better is for the President of the greatest country on the planet to be less of an ignoramus.

The irony is lost on hyper partisan mindsets. Faux "News" created a co-dependency industry off of RW radio vitriol.

Yeah , the form where people vote for candidates and hope they'll actually do what the people want.[/QUOTE]
'not exactly.' Wrong. Exactly. A Constitutional Republic is a form of democracy no matter what QAnon university may say.

And there you go, proving your own point that perhaps we should dial down the vitriol.

I'm forever amazed by the fact that so many people can't see their own hypocrisy, even when they put it in writing.

Well and accurately stated. Not only has he been a fraud all hislife......he CONTINUES to be one. The shsyster is going to try and get away with the least damages he can......... and his playing the victim card is getting him closer to the oval office again.....where he can continue to be a fraud, only this time filled with rage and intention for revenge and retribution. His "retribution" statement is not for the people. It is for HIMSELF and HIMSELF alone. If anyone benefits from his actions.......it is purely accidental. He cannot be trusted. It is as basic as that.
Furthermore: Why on earth do people want a VICTIM as leader, when leadership requires strength in intellect, personality, wisdom, ethics, standards and knowledge........as well as diplomatic skills.

    Yeah yeah yeah.

We heard all this Chicken Little non-sense the last time.

None of which was validated or true.

    Partisan cannon fodder. Nothing more.

you mean like if Obama or Biden were elected, it would be the end of the end of democracy? That never came to pass and they didn't try to overthrow the results of the election.

We don't have democracy in this country. Both wings of the Uniparty say we do, but we don't. We have in this country a fascist Oligarchy. Our government is subservient to special interests like Pharma and the military industrial complex.

The Uniparty wants everybody to believe we have democracy, but we don't. It's an illusion and large swaths of society actually buy into the illusion.

On this forum, you have to back up your claims.

    Not just parrot talking points.

Can you please source where Republicans claimed Obama or Biden would end Democracy.

    I'll await your link.
