One would hope that there would be a negotiated solution, but that has not been available - either to West Bank (who dedicated themselves in that direction) and in Gaza.

Even Netanyahu points out that this is the price they are willing to pay for world recognition of the problem.

The war in Gaza is about to enter a new phase, as Netanyahu and the Israelis decided that the ugly ramifications of a policy of siege warfare, depopulation, starvation and ethnic cleansing in Gaza to "destroy Hamas", before bearing fruit for them, is more quickly eating away at the very threads of US/western support on which Israel's whole existence relies. The war in Gaza is a tragedy. The mistakes the IDF have made no one wants. As a Zionist I am deeply disturbed with how this war has turned out and the killings of aid workers and civilians. That has nothing to do with Netanyahu or the Jews you spit at in your generalizations.

People know where I and other people stand who are Zionists on this thread. I do not hide by Zionist ideology or Jewishness. I also am direct and upfront that the tragedy in Gaza is a horrible thing and a direct consequence of Hamas using its civilians as shields and what it did on Oct. 7. However like many Jews, Israelis, members of the IDF, humans in general, we lament the killing of ANY innocent civilian in Gaza and do not want it and want this war over and done with.

The war on the ground is something you have no knowledge of nor I. In your case you have a clear hate agenda. In my case I could not be any more clear about my hatred for Hamas as you are of Jews.

I actually stated in previous posts in this war the officers on the ground who are usually at the level of a Major or Colonel, sometimes a Captain call the shots. Their decisions are split second and in a theatre where Hamas is using civilians as shields as we speak.

You have no phacking clue how many situations the IDF has avoided in killing innocent civilians but you rely on inciting hatred against all Jews hoping people rely only on anti Israel stories.

If the IDF operations on the ground screw up and kill innocent people they must be held accountable and efforts immediately engaged in to avoid future mistakes. Whether that is happening or not know one has a clear picture on. Most stories do NOT come from the IDF or direct eye witnesses. They come from Hamas passed to the Western press which accepts them without fact check.

The killing of the recent 7 aid workers draws into question serious communication issues.. Clearly the communications route to soldiers on the ground from behind the line sources is getting distorted or breaking down and this needs immediate rectification.

Israel has stated it has no excuse for the tragic mistake and must rectify it and the UK and the US who both had a right to criticize it were advised as soon as was possible what happened and what the IDF is now doing.

These kinds of tragedies only alienate any support Israel has remaining and if it was just that who cares. Israelis could care less if you hate them. What Israelis and I and most of us care about is that no innocent people die or starve.

As for your opinions they means absolutely nothing. Your past threads and posts make it clear what you hate Ukrainians and Jews.

By the way I directly challenge your claim you were in Israel twice. You were never in Gaza, on the West Bank or in the areas in conflict.

The presence of that Israeli brigade, however, still falls short of what Hamas had demanded for the deal being negotiated for exchange of captives on both sides. Nonetheless, this move by Israel signals that pressure on Netanyahu to end the war in Gaza is beginning to bear fruit, although it is possible Netanyahu feels he can still cling to power with some sort of war with Iran looming on the horizon. The latter a war the Biden administration has assured Israel the US would support if Iran goes through with its vow to strike Israel in retaliation for Israel's attack on Iran's consulate in Syria.
