Once again if gender and sex are different how come you don't see so many people who identify their gender as the same as their sex seeking to alter their sex?

You can't have it both ways no matter how hard you try

Gender encompasses social roles - in America that may mean owning nd regularly fondling a gun elsewhere it might mean being a hunter gatherer

Social roles encompass gender. The two genders are different from each other and behave differently socially. That has nothing to do with people deciding what gender is. Gender (sex) is what it is. It is biological. Social constructs are not. They are beliefs and customs. Both genders have them.

You're kidding. You don't see the political and social problems problems from people mixing mental disorders with biology? Without these these problems we wouldn't even be discussing this. We shouldn't be discussing it. Leave personal problems to the people that suffer them.

Yeah arguing that gender is a social construct, then saying it's not a social construct a few minutes later, is "semantics".

You should read your own sources from time to time.

    Yeah sure.

Providing a source that says gender is a social construct, then providing a source a few minutes later saying that social influences have no affect on gender is hard to comprehend.

It's not complex at all actually.

You're either male or female or have a genetic error, and you either accept your physical reality or you don't.

Not lying to people with mental problems is neither hate, nor disgust, nor trolling.

I'm just not going to lie to people with mental problems. You do what you want.

The entire field of psychology disagrees with you. But as always, you are entitled to whatever opinion you would like to have.

When discussing biological sex, that is correct

How am I trying to lie to them? My general ideology is one of harm reduction and personal happiness. If someone can achieve that by changing their outward appearance to satisfy an incongruity then more power to them.

And we will just have to disagree about the intention of people like yourself that continue to misgender or deadname people, push laws to ban them from public or ridicule them.

If true then the entire field of psychology is wrong. Social sciences analyze human behavior. The results of the analysis are always opinions. Opinions aren't right or wrong. They are just opinions. If psychologists describe their position as opinion then that is fine. As soon as people like you try to make it fact then we have nonsense. Neither society nor individuals determine gender. Nature does.

IF the term "gender" refers exclusively to "biological sex at birth"...
THEN obviously TWO is the only answer...

I think the problem is the overwhelming majority of people don't practice live and let live when it becomes intrusive on their lives. Men in the ladies room or men on a sports team that have as a founding principle to be designed for women to have a level field.

As a young child, my son fantasized about being a super hero. He would tie a superman beach towel around his shoulders, and "fly" around the house, fighting imaginary crime. I humor trans people's delusions about their gender similarly to how I humored my child's super hero fantasy. The difference is, such fantasy is normal and healthy for young children. If as a young adult, he still insisted that he really was superman, and that I should address him as such, it would be clearly indicative of a mental problem.

When my daughter was 3, she tried to convince us she was a banana. We had fun with it for a while, but we never sliced her into a bowl of cereal.

Psychologists and psychiatrists would disagree with you about it being a mental disorder.

No one is asking you to pretend. You are just confused on what makes "man" and "woman".

The irony of your statement is overwhelming.
I am not the confused one because I know that a penis and testicles means that someone is a male and the presence of a vagina means that that person is a female. Just because you dress up like it's Halloween everyday doesn't magically make you the opposite sex

    Even a child understands this.

Well I'm the context of something not related to sex, none that doesn't exist. It's like a person saying they are goth or emo it's just an attempt to connect a psychological condition to their fashion choice.

I'm terms of sexual expression 2. Nobody can express a third sex because they didn't even know how to conceptualize it.

So anybody spinning this non binary crap is having you on.

No nobody is confused on that for you to pretend people who understand reality is pretending.

What makes a man is being make a condition you are born with and being an adult.

    There's no confusion.

It's not irony it's bold faced lies
This set of facts that nobody really needs to hear is exactly why his statement is a lie.

You know definitions are how words are used but what they mean right?

I remember seeing a definition for literally to mean not literally because people were using it that way.

And if they say that then I would disagree with them. Actually, I think your premise is wrong. They are perfectly aware that it is a psychological issue, not a biological one. Opinions aren't worth enough to buy a cup of coffee.
