The thing about the Bible is if the more unfortunate parts are quoted then the equivocators will say ah but the translation, ah but the context, ah but the allegory, ah but the real meaning, ah but this bit is ranked higher than that bit. All in order to wriggle out of facing up to what it seems to demand. And of course justify the baked in hypocrisy in so called Christians.
Thou shalt not kill being a prime example.
    As for Leviticus, seriously?

Glad you find Paul inspiring Mitt .. but that don't make it "the Word of God" .. Lord Jesus .. the Logos .. and nor should it be substituted and worshiped as such .. nor the words of Idol Martin inspired by the Dark one ... Do you deny that Ha Satan is a God Mitt . and that following the course directed by those hands is the path to the roasting pit ?

What scripture is 2 Tim/Peter referring to Mitt ? There was no Bible at that time .. is Greek theology included in "all scripture" .. and by which Gods are these scriptures inspired ?

Oh Look Mitt .. Brother Todd decided to chime in .. "Hiding out in tree tops .. Shouting out Rude names" --- apparently a valid argument for something in the land of Ha Satan .. Is this your God Brother Todd ... or do you deny that Ha Satan is a God ? .. a very powerful Son of God Supreme is he. Show us your smarts .. show that you are not ignorant of the name of your own God .. Brother Todd .. and then go take out that Log.

Do you not know the name of your own God Brother Todd ? .. or is it "Ha Satan" and you don't want to say .. Do you believe that Ha Satan is a God Brother Todd .. take a stand today ! because as the song goes " If you don't stand for something - You will fall for anything"

Here Gift let me present a video from my favorite Christian Ministry, they will answer the question, "What does it mean that the Bible is inspired?" Hopefully after you have viewed their presentation you will finally see the light and come out of the darkness.

Ok thanks Gift for your post.

Gift done, so you’re implying that you are a scientist. That is about as ignorant a statement as you’ve made so far. What kind of scientist are you.? For instance, a biologist doesn’t know very much about particle physics, duvet. You could say you are an attorney, but what kind of attorney? Real estate, attorney, probate, attorney, criminal, defense, attorney, etc. etc., now do you understand why calling yourself a scientist is absolutely ignorance beyond belief, let me rephrase that, ignorance formerly beyond belief.

Holy Deflection .. and misdirection .. unable to respond to the question .. the "thought stopping" triggered somehow. Your video does not explain why you are inspired to substitute the word of Paul with that of Jesus.

What Scripture is being referred to Mitt ? in your citation of Pious Fraud - You have yet to deny the works the hands of man .. your Master Ha Satan. What is the name of your God Mitt .. and look what has happened to Brother Todd .. foaming at the mouth personal invective .. completely illogical raging at the wind .. no argument to be found anywhere.

What are we ignorant of Todd .. what does particle physics are you talking about .. and how does this relate to the problem that you do not know the name of your God , nor his teachings. and I think we did a little particle physics in the 4th year Quantum Chemistry class I did .. well .. and perhaps in the Physical Chemistry .. come to think of it :)

This is more a question of Logic than pure science Todd .. and certainly has nothing to do with accounting or real estate .

Tough Question Todd .. even tougher for Mitt .. who has been stumped by this one from the beginning .. telling us about some God .. and the teachings of this God .. but doesn't know the name .. nor identity .. nor the nature of this God .. never mind know or follow the teachings of this God.

The name Todd .. or at least the identity .. who is this God of the Bible you worship .. Mitt will not deny Ha Satan ... do you Todd .. deny that Ha Satan is a God .. and every bit as real as your God ... the God with no name nor identity.

Yes Mitt !! I see the Light .. the Truth and the True word of God as opposed to the path of the Snake Charmer. and now for the "tough question" on the basis of what you have learned about Inspiration Mitt. Please tell us which of the two Command is inspired .. and the name of the God that inspired that command .. so we know which command and which God to follow in the case of Sin ..

    1) Kill the children for the sins of the parents
or 2 ) Do not kill the children for the sins of the parents .. each is to be punished according to his own sin.

    Tough question huh?
How come Christians that go on about the veracity and value of the Bible often cherry pick the bits from Leviticus.
Or if they believe in the Bible how come so many self styled Christians don’t obey Leviticus?

Thanks so much Brother Todd for the video you presented. It was very very interesting, all 1 hour 50 minutes and 50 seconds of it.

With the remarkable scientific evidence that was presented it authenticates the Shroud of Turin to be the burial cloth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

And so I found it to be such a compelling and profound presentation...excellently done!

Do you have the part 2 presentation? If so, please present it.

Ok thanks Brother Todd for your post, I salute you! :salute:

I understand because you're not a Christian, not knowing what the religion entails you say things out of ignorance about the religion and its followers.

Since Lord Jesus, there was a New Covenant established and the old ways became obsolete.

The Old Covenant with its harsh judicial judgments is no longer in effect because we are under a New Covenant.

    We Read in Scripture:

20 And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup, which is poured out for you, is the new covenant in My blood. Luke 22:20 NASB

This New Covenant was prophesied in the Old Testament.

    We Read in Scripture:

31 “Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, Jeremiah 31:31 NASB

Then in the New Testament of particular importance we have Hebrews 8:13 and 12:24.

13 When God speaks of a “new” covenant, it means he has made the first one obsolete. It is now out of date and will soon disappear. Hebrews 8:13 NLT

24 You have come to Jesus, the one who mediates the new covenant between God and people, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks of forgiveness instead of crying out for vengeance like the blood of Abel. Hebrews 12:24 NLT

So essentially the New Covenant or New Testament is God's promise He makes with humanity that He will forgive sin and restore fellowship with those whose hearts are turned toward Him. Like I mentioned above the Old Covenant was harsh in judicial judgments. God had established with His people (Israelites) a requirement of strict obedience to the Mosaic Law. The Mosaic Law required the Israelites to perform daily sacrifices in order to atone for sin because as Scripture tells us the wages of sin is death.

But as Christians we are not bound by the Mosaic Laws as depicted/described in Leviticus of the OT, which was the Old Covenant.

Our sins are forgiven by having trust and faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by believing that He paid the sin debt on our behalf by shedding His innocent sinless blood on the cross.

Ok thanks philo for your post.

And at this late date in the history of Man... why is this being revealed? We can see the actual face of Jesus the Christ...

So as I understand you, Christians who say they revere and obey the Bible really only mean the later bits, the New Testament.

This is the Snake Charmer Special "Shroud of Turin" -- hour of Power.

Now .. lest we Fear .. that Lucifer is near .. let us confess that even if that is the face of Jesus on the shroud .. it doesn't necessarily follow that Jesus is "God -
the Father" on the basis that he stained a piece of cloth ... having a lower pH than humans being one of the Alien Hybrid species.

Now .. Todd -- heed not the words written by the hands of men .. do not be deceived by the dog and pony show and hearken to The Word of God .. as spoken by our Lord Jesus through the Holy Spirit .. and follow no other God than this. Seek the Truth and you shall find Brother Todd .. listen to your feelings my young apprentice .. You know it to be true the word I say to you.

Sure Mitt - finally we agree on something.. new Covenant .. new God :) .. Jesus didn't wan't much to do with that old God YHWH and his "Word" .. and the Word Was God .. remember Mitt. Different Word .. different Set of Commands .. different God.

Now you understand Mitt .. why you need to figure out the identity of your God .. because it is not the God .. not "The Word" of Jesus on which your foundation is based .. not a foundation based on the Rock of Lord Jesus .... but on that of sand .. on an unknown .. unnamed .. God's command.

    1) kill the child for the sins of the parents
    2) Do not kill the child for the sins of the parents .. each punished according to his own sin.

Tell me the name of the God(s) who spoke the above commands .. tell me the name of the God we no longer need to follow .. because we have a covenant with a new God .. and tell me the name of that God too Mitt.

Very good question Brother Todd and yes we can see the actual face of Jesus the Christ. I was thoroughly impressed again as I was with part 1 with this part 2 presentation.

I myself am totally convinced that the Shroud of Turin is the burial cloth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Scientific evidence proves this image of the Lord on the cloth could not have been man-made but it was radiated onto the cloth making it like a photo negative. Furthermore, recent techniques of carbon dating has the Shroud originating in the 1st century A.D. the time period our Lord lived and died paying the sin debt for all believers by sacrificing His life by shedding His innocent blood on the cross.

Ok thanks Brother Todd for your videos you presented they were very very interestingly remarkable and convincing.

This makes a lot of sense, until you consider that God is supposed to be all powerful, and should be able to communicate more clearly, or more often.

If we accept that he is indeed so able, then isn't the natural conclusion that he intended the confusion resulting from his not doing so?

I am curious why Christians think that is.

I am indeed curious why anyone who believes any all powerful being who intends to send us a message, would do so in such a manner resulting in so many conflicting interpretations.

Couldn't such a being just make everyone know what he wants them to know, and then judge based on how they act on the information, rather than based on how well they figured out what he meant to say?

Good points for the literalist to think about. But while it is true that all scripture is inspired, it is essential to know what "inspired" means. It means humans expressed what was not expressible. Certainly some is, but such expressions are not "reasonable" to the human mind. And the rest is not expressible. You have to "be there". So there was no "spirit being" dictating words to anyone, ever. The Truth must be obtained as a direct, immediate experience in consciousness. Then the bible is no longer needed. Once we climb the ladder to the rooftop, we can throw away the ladder as then we can see rightly for ourselves.

The God all religions speak of is the One basic independent Reality of all that is. No such "God" speaks or communicates. Anyone who says "God told me" is unwittingly referring to their own conscience. All there is to know, in the end, is "IS". This is expressed in the bible as "I AM". All scripture of every religion is just another attempt to guide us in stripping away everything that covers, dresses, and hides "IS". The Buddha said "DROP! DROP!"

The God of the Bible that Brother Todd and I along with the other 2 billion or so practicing Christians world-wide worship is the Christian Triune God, the Trinity consisting of the Father, the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

He is the Creator Almighty God who is Eternal, meaning He has no beginning, He has no end, He simply exists. He is the Creator who created everything in the universe that exists. He is the Sovereign God the only one true God.

Satan is the god of this world for all the unbelievers, he rules the unbelievers but he does not rule the Christian believers.

    We Read in Scripture:

4 Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God. 2 Corinthians 4:4 NLT

Let me present a video from my favorite Christian Ministry, they answer the question, "How is Satan god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4)?"

Ok thanks Gifte for your post.

How can what is infinite and "everpresent" be limited from equal existence anywhere? You are saying there are three "distinct" beings. That is an attempt to limit the infinite.

Let's get this straight, when I said there are 3 distinct beings, it's not me just making stuff up, I mean I'm just reiterating what Almighty God has already told us in Scripture and so it's Biblical.

Like my favorite Christian Ministry said, "The most difficult thing about the Christian concept of the Trinity is that there is no way to perfectly and completely understand it. "

Now I know I recently presented the video portion of my favorite Christian Ministry answering the question, "What does the Bible teach about the Trinity? Matter of fact, that post is on pg. 131 #3251. And evidently to no surprise you're not completely understanding it.

So let me do this, I will present the written portion of my favorite Christian Ministry answering the question, "What does the Bible teach about the Trinity?"

Perhaps, after reading the article you might get to understand the Trinity a little better than what you understand about it now. And if you want to review the video portion you know where it's located.

So below is the written explanation:

Ok thanks Kode for your post, I hope you gained some insight here.

I never said you were "making stuff up" and I didn't ask for someone else's thoughts about it.. I said you are BELIEVING it. So if you believe it, then you must have thought about it. I know that's an assumption, but it's the only rational one. So assuming you thought about it, how do you explain this problem? You're saying up is down and hot is cold and yes is no.

And please don't insult me by telling me what I understand and what I don't. I obviously know more about this than your sources based on their confusion and "leaps of faith". And that is because I have had spiritual experiences and insights they can only dream about.

Part of your support material here makes reference to the Old Testament, yet you told me above (when I mentioned Leviticus) that the Old Testament doesn’t count any more.
Makes me wonder if you’re cherry picking.

To most Christians, the Old Testament applies except where it doesn't.

Obviously you misunderstood me, that happens a lot for an unbeliever to understand fully what is being said, there is always that possibility of not interpreting correctly what is being said.

I did not say the Old Testament doesn't count any more, I said no such thing and obviously to you, you thought my response meant I was implying all Scripture in the OT is invalid, doesn't count anymore. I was only referring to the Covenants God had made, Covenants are agreements. The Old Covenant is obsolete while the New Covenant is in effect.

Now let me bring up those posts between you and I, read it again very carefully and please note I made no such mention that the Old Testament doesn't count anymore.

Ok thanks philo for your post, I hope you now see you misunderstood me and so please read carefully what is presented to avoid misunderstandings/misinterpretations.

The closest analogy I can come up with to explain the Trinity is this: When you meet me face to face, that is me; When I text, that is also me, and when I talk to you on the phone that is also me.
