The problem in this case is radicals using RELIGION to justify their violence, from which neither Muslims OR Christians are exempt.

Beating wives is NOT "full frontal Islam" anymore than beating children is an essential part of Christianity.

I cannot help wondering how you equate war with enemies with how one raises their child.

Here is a tip: in war the purpose is to beat and enemy. At home the purpose is to raise a contributing member of society, one who will not himself resort to violence like his child-beating parents do.

 

In Communist USA spanking your kid or your wife can get you beaten and imprisoned or killed when the cops show up. You see, violence has been monopolized like medicine. You have to have a badge/license to do violence.

The only way I could see an intelligent person answering "no" to those questions is if they actually believe that, for example, "god" would choose a pedophile as the ultimate role for all time, and condemning him by you would, you feel, result in you burning in hell (ie giving into the illogical fear that Mohammad preached.)
