    Great article. The NRA is an outstanding civil rights organization. While the article does say that the NRA has supported gun control in the past, (The NFA and Gun Control Act of 1968 ) it fails to mention that the NRA changed leadership in the 1970s and the new leadership steered the organization away from this pro-gun control stance.

    The AARP spends more per year then the NRA its quite Hillarious how the media makes them out to be this evil all powerful organization with a grip on our politicians throats.
