Thanks for that D&D it is interesting indeed. However, as a political football the Greens have used this topic with great efficiency. again and again it is brought to the forefront of politics. Nothing much has changed, even though there are more outwardly open gay people in pairliment, the emphisis is on continued on the electoral format which would appear at this point to be against the policy and I have seen no indication of an increasing trend in popular opinion. In time things may change but for the near future nothing would appear to be changing.

Christians never approve of homosexuality because their Bible forbids and condemns it. The Catholic church is NOT the church of Christians but the church of pope worshipers. The pope speaks to his own followers who hear his voice. The pope does not speak to Christians because they are the followers of Christ and hear his voice.

God's church is invisible, so to speak, all the individuals all over the world who love Jesus and accept his teachings.

Imo its really sad today that the gay agenda is being pushed on the Y-generation and they dont even know.

I think its because hollywood is always portraying gays as cool in the movies and that its cool to be gay.

Some of you younger people should look up the movie Cruising with Al Pacino.

Now after reading that garbage that i posted above about gays, homosexuality and pedophilia how can anyone want to give legal custody of children to gays?.....or treat them as we do a married couple in our society?

Our society is built on the family, marriage is between a man and a woman and the rearing of children like wise.

Heck some of the younger guys even frequent gay bars for goodness sake their excuse is there are plenty of girls there that go out and dont want to be hassled by testosterone filled teenagers, they just want to have a good time.

Heck, what i want to know is what happened to hetrosexual rights?

After all we are the majority at 98% or 97%.

Gays are a minority, they can do whatever they want behind closed doors, but when they try to push their agenda on the rest of us that for me is a little too much.

How can the greens claim to be for families and then support gay rights.

I'm not gay, I don't have any gay relatives in my immediate family including first cousins, nieces or nephews. Could be a couple who haven't come out yet...lol! But you never know I suppose. Anyway I know of numerous gay and lesbian couples who have had children that they have raised. These children have actually lived happy heterosexual lives and quite successful despite parents being in same sex marriage. These couples were quite open with their relationships with the outside world and were well respected, I suppose because they were comfortable with who they were and didn't allow negativity to rule their lives. A particular gay couple have been together for nearly 30 years and have successfully seen their heterosexual adopted children, in particular their adopted son graduate from uni and marry the woman of his dreams. This is no story, this is fact. Yes, I once was a bigoted redneck dumb, I was raised in a conservative church. Not saying that all Christians are redneck bigots but the doctrine certainly guides many in that direction! I hated how I saw the world from my Christian roots, but that's another argument for the religious thread.
