"In May, Politico compiled the most comprehensive list ever of the then likely GOP presidential nominee’s history of self-contradictions, flip-flops and even flip-flop-flips. Over the course of four decades of radio and TV interviews, newspaper and magazine profiles, books written about him and books written by him, rambling campaign speeches and late-night tweets, Donald Trump has created a vast archive of arguments with himself." - Source

I've said this before but it bears repeating; The far right is living vicariously through Donald Trump at the moment. He hasn't even been sworn in yet they are projecting into Trump, actions which they would like Trump to do and seemingly then, treating that as fact. About all that can be safely said is that he is unpredictable, at best. The man ran on a platform of making deals and that cannot be done unless two groups meet, and bargain quid pro quo.. Like all politicians running for office, promises are made and things are said that reflect the heat of the moment. Trump is no different and in order to facilitate making deals, has to back track on things he has said. This article represents a list of such things.

:)This has been so embarrassing for his supporters, disappointing too since they "knew" they could trust Donald but not that other candidate :roflol:

This time last year I did not think Trump could even win the primary, I was wrong. I was betting on Kasich or Pence. At least I was partially correct, what a difference a year made. Trump will be sworn in January 20th. By July 4th we should have an idea of what he will accomplish and what he will not. Until then articles like in the OP's post are just speculation. I do not see a lot of hard commitments on eway or the other in most of the statements and the rest are just squirrels he sends the media chasing after when he wants to divert attention. Some may want to look past the trees and discover there is a forest out there

We are all surprised that the liberal writers and critics of the President-Elect are now upset (when they should be quiet and happy) that he's allegedly flipped on political promises that they hated. Could it be spin designed to drive wedges between a President Trump and his base of supporters early on? Does anyone expect positive reviews from the MSM or is it possible the MSM has not learned it's lesson and is on a path to self-destruction and extinction because they stupidly choose to ignore the people and instead continue to be the mouthpiece for the Democratic Party? Here's my prediction, the media will continue to cast a negative light on everything Trump does from now until the next president takes office, and thereafter, until and unless they go out of business.

PS Is this one of the Politico writers that had to ask for approval and editing of their articles from the Clinton Campaign or the DNC?

The man has posted a pretty clear copy of his 100 day plan. As a result, on day 101, it will be quite easy to determine how well he's done, right? So can we let the man take the oath of office and start in on the work at hand before declaring him a failure? I realize that that's not a particularly pleasant thought for Democrats to have to contemplate, but I really feel it's a bit unreasonable to be complaining about the president-elect prior to his doing much of anything.

The media will not be happy until their relevancy has been completely eradicated and every vestige of impartiality has been wiped away.

    Most probably.
