Thousands of Germans have taken to the streets to protest Germany's restrictions on it's citizens. When I checked Wednesday Germany had 0 deaths and not many new cases reported for that day. For weeks people in Berlin have not been observing social distancing and don't seem to buy into the media hysteria like many here in the States. Hopefully this catches on and people wake up...

Your own article says “On Friday it recorded more than 900 new cases and seven deaths.” I guess reading 5 sentences was too much to ask.

I am at the point where I don’t care anymore, if people want to get sick with something that is going to cause them lifelong medical conditions let them do so. If they get others sick due to their negligence, treat them as purposefully spreading a communicable ailment and allow litigation against their estate.

We are limited as to what we can do to slow down its spread. So being in the high risk group I avoid crowds, social distance, wash hands often and wear a mask when I have to get gas.

I do these things and stopped worrying about getting infected. For I am doing all that I can do.

We have mandatory masking here. You get used to it after awhile.

I don't get the resistance . Its more useful than not.

Plus it covers up ugly faces! But also the attractive faces too.

If this goes on and women can't show off, hot pants and and halter tops will make a comeback. Gotta flaunt some attribute! Lol

Good to see the Germans complaining.

Sooner or later herd immunity will develop.

When Joe beats Donald the "crisis" will quickly subside. Politics and money is all this is about.

Yep. It will just magically disappear when Joe is sworn in. Although it may take until Easter, when it warms up, for it to fully go away.

I'm told it will disappear like magic on 11/4.

We have mandatory masking. Sometimes I have issues with it and sometimes I don't. A lot depends on the temperature and humidity. On those 95 degree days with high humidity, they are just insufferable to wear for more than a few minutes. My real concern is that they are only so effective at best, and face shields instead or bandanas less so. People have gotten complacent to where as long as they are checking the legal box, then it is okay for them to be in close contact. Our new cases were much lower when the masks were voluntary and social distancing was being maintained more religiously. When they became mandatory, people threw social distancing to the wind.

It will subside even if Trump wins. It is all about the election.
