Which is still better than any argument you've come up with.

An average of 1.04 killed per mass shooting? How is that even mathematically possible? How do you define a mass shooting?

"A total of 67 million airbags have been recalled, and at the end of 2022, 11 million were still yet to be replaced....

"To date, there have been 26 deaths and more than 400 injuries because this problem in the U.S."
    https://www.consumerreports.org/car...call-everything-you-need-to-know-a1060713669/

So should defective airbags not be replaced because they contribute to only a very small percentage of vehicle fatalities? 26 deaths over a 20 year period... that's not even 0.01%.

    All lives matter.

    As I said:
It is impossible to soundly demonstrate the necessity for, and the efficacy of, a ban on ‘assault weapons’.
    Thanks for the proof.

The same way Democrats and the news media define it.
    It's in the link.

Every time I hear someone say ban AR’s I think Virginia Tech. An AR ban would have done nothing to prevent it.

Commonly used definitions of mass shooting:

    https://www.rand.org/research/gun-policy/analysis/essays/mass-shootings.html

The only way to get to 600 mass shootings a year is to count all shootings with three or more shot, not necessarily killed, and include gang and domestic violence shootings.

It's perfectly well defined in every law and bill. It's also arbitrarily, capriciously and inconsistently defined in every law and bill.

The laws which ban them define the term.
As such, 'assault weapons' do not exist in 40+ states.

I see you don't understand the difference between a product you have a right to operate in public working as intended (ie you load it and pull the trigger it goes bang) vs a product you don't have a right to operate on public roads not working as intended (IE airbag is supposed to work, but it doesn't work).

    See how that works?
