Dem1: We should stage a protest immediately following the release of the bill.
Dem2: Excellent, where should we do it?
Dem1: If we want coverage, we'll need people to get arrested so it looks like the Republicans are trying to suppress voices. Let's have the protest done in a place where protesting isn't legal.
Dem2: Are... are you sure? Haven't we overplayed this a bit in recent history? The American People are sick of virtue signaling.. we keep losing elections because we don't change the way we do things. We have to make sure things are DIFFERENT this time.
Dem1: You're right.... make sure they're disabled. This will boost sympathy.
    Dem2: BRILLIANT!

Nah, just thought it was a clever way to point out I'll not be swayed by DNC tricks. I don't use a signature.

They're disabled. They rely on Medicaid. It has nothing to do with partisanship. It has to do with their self interest. Come on, you seriously don't know this?

Disabled people are entitled to their right to protest the cuts to Medicaid, same as anyone else who gets Medicaid assistance.

CLEVERNESS when referring to an issue of such grave importance implies apathy. . . . Stereotypical Trump egocentrism.

No cuts to Medicaid in the bill. Dims are using the disabled for a BS political ploy.

The Clear Blue Wave now showing up for this one eh? No, sorry, being witty or clever doesn't imply any sort of apathy. You do not get to redefine that word as well, liberal.

That was sarcasm. . . . If it was overly subtle, it wasn't intended to be.

So are you trying to say that opposition to the DNC, Leftism, Liberalism, or Progressivism means that I'm a Conservative?

There is no LOGICAL justification for defending this bill other than supporting your base.

You, and MSLSD, apparently don't know the difference between a cut and a decrease in an increase.

Let me dumb it down...if you spend $100 on beer this year and plan to spend $125 on beer next year, but only spend $120 on beer the next year you didn't cut your beer budget.

You really shouldn't buy into what far left fringe networks tell you to think. Thinkitout on your own, if possible.

Who said anything about supporting the bill?

I'm laughing at the DNC's weak attempt to protest the bill by staging people to be arrested.

Perhaps. What isn't an assumption is how the DNC has operated in the past. This is right up their alley in terms of playbook.

Either way, these idiots were protesting in a space they shouldn't have, and they're now going to the clink. Hope they were told ahead of time this was going to happen.

The current day Republican is a sociopath that is drawn to Trump and the party for that very reason. Explaining why something is inhumane does no penetrate their thought process.

Purely a weak biased semantic argument. . . . Cuts DO include reductions in future projections of inflationary costs.

    That depends.

There are already efforts to push the theory that obesity is a disability, like in Europe.

While I recognize that disability can lead to obesity, simply being a lazy fat ass should in no way qualify as a disability.

Here's an individual that thinks the world should give her disability pay no matter how she got that way.

Is it REALLY fair to construct a generalization based ONLY on a wee bit of information preferentially selected to support your hypothesis???

. . . . But healthcare has become their Achilles' Heel, a no-win situation for them.
