Meh I don't know. I've seen footage from downed Hamas assailants. They were targeting civilians. Israel doesn't seem to really care about Palestinian civilians. Maybe they'd like them to die but can't be seen to be doing it for its own sake. Both regimes are basically evil, but Israel has more power. Civilians on both sides, but mostly Palestinians, suffer the consequences, as usual.

You say both sides are evil and there is some merit to that but if you factor in who is the occupier and the occupied then it should at least bring some empathy to discussion, no?

 

You have the right to believe in Tooth Fairy and you have right to believe that Hamas did not attack Israeli civilians, killed, raped and kidnapped Israeli women and children.
What Israel did is the same what did civilized Western democratic country - attacked with airplanes and artillery Hamas places, the same as the West attacked Germany, Serbia, Iraq or Afghanistan, and there is no way to prevent the collateral damage, especially when Hamas members do not have special barracks where they live.
As matter of fact, it is possible that Hamas commanders are mentally retarded and didn't guess that Israel's response to Hamas attack will be severe - if this is the case, IMHO Israel should not attack Gaza.

What I posted happened in the West Bank. No Hamas there. Just unarmed Palestinians being slaughtered by Israel because, well, just because.

 

When in the West Bank armed Palestinians shoot on the army or on regular Israelis, Israeli army shoots back. Israeli army shoots also on people throwing stones on the army or on Israeli civilian cars.
Sometimes when Israeli army has an info that Palestinians are planning attack - they break into homes to arrest suspects - almost all the time the Israeli army is met by 'unarmed' Palestinians who shoot at the army and some Israeli soldiers and Palestinians are killed.
More or less what Israeli army is doing is what any police is doing when people attack police.
Is Israeli army always right? Of course not, the same as Hamas, American or English are not always right.
The problem is that Palestinians want their own country - for which they have a right - but Hamas does not want Israel to exist and torpids any attempt to make peace between Israel and Palestinians.

Palestinians don't have weapons in the west bank. Even knives are prohibited to them. This is pure fantasy. There is no Hamas in the West Bank.

This is what happens.

Soldiers need something to do. They randomly select a house. Break down the door. Women to one side men to the other. Toss the place. Harrass them. Leave. Rinse. Repeat. Day after day.
