I watch a whole lot of MSNBC, a news outlet. They struggled for so very long with the pronunciation of Kenneth CHEZ-bro (with a short "e"). For quite a while they often pronounced it CHEEZ-borough. At one point, while glibly speaking fast, one MSNBC contributor pronounced it CHEEZ-berg. Another little slip, on a different word, occurred on Thursday night's "All In" show with Chris Hayes. He had used the word so often, "indicted", and on that night he once mispronounced it "indictled" (ryhming with "entitled").
