I bought my first firearm at 12, a single shot 20 gauge. I shot game with it. Brought it to school and kept it in the clock room until school was out. Scheduling my classes to leave early to go hunting. Never used a shot gun to shoot a person. Did save my life by shooting a man with a rifle trying to shoot me.
