A real solution to poverty - ban poor people from having children

If the left's serious about ending poverty, then what they should do is ban anyone making under $50,000-60,000 a year from having a kid. And for every additional kid you have, you need to up your income by about $20,000 more per kid.

Think about it, if only rich and middle class people were allowed to have kids, then poverty would die off in a generation or two. There'd be only rich and middle class people left - and voila! No more poverty. Not to mention it'd help with the current overpopulation problem we have in the world. What's not to like?

 

The poor have always had more kids. It's the only old-age insurance policy available to them.

 

Umm. Poor people don't think about the future so much. Have a lot of kids and maybe, maybe, some will survive and prosper.

Give people hope in the future and they tend to have fewer children.

It has always been that way.

 

Make 'em get government permits.

Everybody else has to get government permits for everything else. Why not require poor people to get permits?

easy access to birth control helps prevent unwanted children

that doesn't mean we can't help the children that are born have a better quality of life

 

Welfare doesn't offer any long term help, it just sustains their existence, it doesn't teach them to fend for themselves.

 

I think children need to be children, not out on the streets fending for themselves

 

Only if rich people are forced under threat of prison to fork over 75% of all wealth each year.

 

I live in a country where we have this "real solution" as the working class does not have kids , poor people with kids are looked down as idiots and the population is declining as more and more young ones are immigrating in northern Europe.
Do you know what plutocracy did? they imported 3rd world immigrants to feel the gap because if there is a shortage of labor who will work for less than €80 per hour?

 

I'll tell you the secret of America's economy that makes it so great... poor people have money to spend. I know you won't understand it, but trust me... you don't want poor people with out money.

I would not want to live in any country where the government has the power to do that. Yes, in theory it's a good idea, but in human terms it's horrible and IMHO, against fundamental human rights.
