The part I put in bold is because it shows NPR’s clear bias against facts. The trigger is never initially pulled to start rapid fire. The trigger is literally pulled every time a round goes out of the chamber. Just because it is pulled at a faster rate does not mean it fires rapidly after an initial pull of the trigger. If you remove your finger it stops rapidly pulling the trigger. NPR is a joke of a news outlet with bias away from facts everywhere and this is a clear example. And the courts majority opinion proves they are wrong as well.

now that my NPR gripe is out of the way, this is a correct ruling. The pump stock has clear distinctive differences in the operation of the trigger as defined by law. It most definitely is still a semi auto under law. I hope this is struck down in the end and let me give Trump a middle finger for doing it to begin with.

which is clearly the right decision-the ban on machine guns should be struck as violating the tenth and second amendments as well. This most likely will demand a USSC review since it creates a split in the circuits

I still didn't like that action by him. when you start blaming an item that almost never is used in crime rather than the scumbags who committed murder, that is the same mindset as the other gun banners.

Agreed, but surely you knew it would be overturned.

I don't know-the sixth circuit-where I argued about 20 -25 cases and handled a hundred more, upheld the ban. right now we have a conflict in the circuits and the fifth circuit's holding was en banc and thus that almost guarantees a supreme court hearing, I also hear the ATF plans on trying to force registration of the "pistols with braces" as NFA SBRs, that is guaranteed to create a mess in the courts and hopefully it will lead to the NFA being eviscerated as it ought to be
