They even tried to tie Venezuela and Nicaragua to Al Qeada, but they knew even the most indoctrinated wouldnt believe it so it was dropped quietly. It's like Washington wants Iran to build a bomb cause the message is, "no matter what you do were still going to accuse you of developing a nuclear weapon and use that as a pretext to force regime change so you might as well build one to try to deter an invasion or clandestine war." The old self fulfilling prophecy tactic. Or maybe one of the motives is to use the "Iranian threat" as a pretext for aggression against Nicaragua, Bolivia, Venezuela, and Ecuador.
