The US just stepped back and watched these attacks because the deal was that the US would not attack any of those terrorists who were more than 500 meters away from the US. I'll ask again: are these even illegal immigrants? If they are being flown in, they are coming in through a port of entry.

 

The "agreement" did not require a cease fire. It required that a cease fire be on the agenda when negotiating with the Afghan government. There was no requirement for an actual ceasefire.
