The stock market might have gained 24% in 2023, but over 20% of that gain was eaten up by inflation.

The total inflation is over 20%. It makes little difference what it is now, we are still paying over 20% more and many more are struggling to make it.

Actual employment is less than when Trump was president. The unemployment rate is about the same as just prior to Covid, but the labor participation rate is considerably less. The unemployment rate is low because people are not looking for work.
