1) English is the language of business. 2) English is the language of the United States. 3) Anyone who refers to ordinary hard working Americans who simply want government to be held accountable of their fiscal action as a "**********", and uses the slur as a retarded username deserves little to no further consideration in the land of issues discussion. Not because it's offensive, but because that person is completely ignorant on the subject of the Tea Party but has balls enough to attempt to belittle them. That equals dumbass to be ignored.
1)Business is conducted in hundreds of languages every day. 2) There are hundreds of other countries. 3)You're right... The same goes for people who use the term "*******" or anything else of that Ilk.
Well great. A business isn't going to invest in the technology you're suggesting just to satisfy your xenophobia. Get over it.
Why does it matter? You sound like a communist demanding everyone speak the same language, follow the same religion, and believe all the same things. I thought conservatives where for individual freedom? You sound like your on the extreme left right now.
My screen name was chosen for a reason. It was chosen deliberately to get the attention of a certain audience that thinks they represent all "hardworking Americans." Given that it has been my personal experience that a lot of them tend to summarily dismiss most opposing opinions as liberal rubbish within reading a few sentences and would likely never read such a long post I decided to ignite their defensiveness by intentionally using a hook that would get them riled long enough to read a lengthy post. Looks like it worked. I'm sorry if my choice offended anyone's fragile sensibilities...but I'm equally disgusted with the Tea Party's bully tactics and obsession with convincing the press and the public that they are somehow representatives of "real American values and responsibility". And for the individual that claims I'm not typical of the average soldier... 1. I'm not now nor have I ever been in th army. O'well....Guess maybe not everyone read beyond the first paragraph. 2. Unless you've polled them all individually...who are you to claim you have enough insight to know what opinions and feelings represent the average person out of hundreds of thousands of individuals? And so what if I don't meet your definition of average....since when is being just average a position to be coveted? My military career was far from average and I am quite secure in my patriotism without feeling a need to shun those that don't believe and speak exactly as I do. Having compassion and making decisions and forming opinions based on education and firsthand personal experiences, thinking of how others that are not in the majority may feel, and not falling into the mass hysteria that feeds on xenophobic fear doesn't make me a bad American. Americans I've met have been fortunate enough to be born with a voice of their own and don't need to be generalized into "us and them" for the narcissistic benefit of extremists....liberal or conservative. We're in this together..how about finding some middle ground to work from.
I have an odd and conflicted take on this... I think. I am a rabid capitalist. I am absolutely incensed by press something for English. I find the OP a molestation of my patriotism. It is capitalism which has brought forth the press something for English... they are playing to their market, which at this point includes a (*)(*)(*)(*)load of Spanish only speaking people due to the policies of my government... which I have a vote in and the Spanish only speaking people, by in large, do not. I own press 1 for English. It is my fault. The OP molests my feelings because they are a molester.
