No, there not like that. Well, the majority aren't anyway, I'm sure that there is a minority. In fact, there is a restaurant in Alice Springs which claims the freshest seafood in Australia.

One bit a soldier on exercises near Murray Bridge last year. If the soldier hadn't been so fit and very good medical aid immediate and evac very quick, he would have carked it.

Those things exist usually up around Innamincka. I did a job up there years ago, camping out near Cooper's Creek, their habitat...didn't know they were up there, needless to say :-D

Yeah like Kaz says, only Darwin gets those and they are harmless.
Although we did have one here in my town a few years ago. Caused millions of dollars of damage, too. That was frightening to live through.

Tracey 1975. Killed a lot of people. I was working in the north of SA then and did a lot of evacuation work on the Stuart Highway. I even found a home for a dog that had either been abandoned by its Darwin owners or just shot through from fear.

Black Lab, funny, I still think about it, long gone now of course.

I don't even notice Tassie. I wasn't even aware Tassie was a part of Australia until I was in the forth grade. Tassie does their thing, we do ours.

You know about Tasmania? (*)(*)(*)(*), how did you find out about the in breeding island?

But to answer your question, we have our jokes about them like New Zealand, except NZ has sheep and Tassie has siblings.

Next Question: Do you have East Coast and West Coast, or North Australia and South Australia rivalries?

no, you just didn't have the correct wording:(if you are going to quote the messiah, at least get the terminology right)

You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest........ that they get bitter, cling to guns orthey religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

I can't tell what the horns are about just from the photo, but the guy is Richard Dawson, the semi-lecherous host of the game show "Family Feud" 25 years ago or so.

So I fail because you wanted to inject election politics into this thread?

Aren't there 123,456,789,009,876,543,212 other threads you could post that in?

We don't like Eddie Everywhere and we do not call the AFL the VFL only when a game is played in Victoria I would think.

Victorians seem to think so. AFL is the Australian Football League, and is one of Australia's National sports.
