Yes I agree. The media definitely picks the winners in these political battles. Thing is the media ultimately does what their advertisers tell them to do. So it's really advertisers(large corporations), along with lobbyist who chose the winners. I think Trump was the first time Americans actually defied the media brainwashing and voted for someone they actually thought was going to work for them. Unfortunately I must say Trump has underwhelmed with his first term. Obviously dems and big media(large corporations) made it impossibly hard for him, but that's what we elected him to figure out. I will still vote Trump, but I wish he had been able to find a way to bring these cabals down, instead of just troll them.

Trust me, the reasons I am underwhelmed are vastly different than yours. He is still the best president of my lifetime. I just know he does things that turn people off just by character traits and nothing to do with the agendas he has championed or accomplished. I don't vote for a person which is why the final month character assassinations of any person you typically see has very little affect on whether or not I will vote for them. A person doesn't have to be a good person to be a good politician, or any other job for that matter. The rest of it is just reality show level garbage that has no business being brought up in the political realm.

As for "one little law change at a time" -- that's exactly what the right has been trying to do with Roe v Wade for years, with GOP-dominated state legislatures passing boilerplate restrictions as developed by a group called the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC).

I personally Trump should have put a Black Woman through. The left is wielding Kamala Harris like a weapon (who by the way can't make it past 2 sentences without reminding us "I'm A BLACK WOMAN"...so the right should start using race as weapon as well. All Trump has to do was throw some more color in the mix. There are plenty of black conservatives (just most of them are in the closet because other blacks (and white liberals) would have their heads for going against the grain)
