Well, there's a new villain in the manmade global hoax, according to a study published in Nature Climate Change: the lowly earthworm. That's right, according to The [UK] Guardian, an international team of researchers found that by burrowing into the soil and thus releasing carbon dioxide, worms "increase net soil greenhouse-gas emissions." Because soil produces around 20 percent of CO2 emissions and two-thirds of nitrous oxide emissions, that makes earthworms the enemy-of-the-month for the Mother Gaia crowd. We've seen this movie before. To "save the planet," researchers everywhere will be awarded massive government grants for junkets to exotic locales to study worm habits. I imagine eventually they will ban people from buying bags of soil for their garden and we will all be forced start organic compost heaps.
That is of course unless the govt starts taking away all of our private lands that have those those gardens so that they can officially declare them wildlife sanctuaries or off limits to private ownership for any reason they want.
