Well, well, well. There's a saying 'be careful what you wish for'. Perhaps the anti choicers who instigated the investigation should have heeded it.

So apparently anyone who leaks out to the public the shocking truth of what goes on in PP behind closed doors will face punishment...

The charges are obviously trumped up and inappropriate. It seems the prosecutor misled the grand jury concerning the actual meaning of the law.

It seems that the prosecution is trying to contend that the undercover video the defendants took qualifies as "a government record" based on the fact that they want to use it as evidence.

And one of them was also charged with with illegal purchase of organs, even though the deal caught on videotape was obviously a rouse to attempt to catch PP officials engaging in illegal dealings.

The Texas grand jury was investigating PP. They found PP did absolutely nothing wrong. At the same time, they found evidence that the creators of those deceptively edited videos committed felony-level fraud in the process of creating those oh so carefully crafted lies.

PP did nothing wrong. Those who deny that basic, fundamental reality are just gonna have to suck it the hell up. The *******s now under indictment (and with felony warrants for their arrest) did.
    :flame:

This happened in Texas - Greg Abbott governatin', Ted Cruz lovin', gun-totin', two-steppin', (*)(*)(*)(*)-kickin', goat-ropin', abortion-hatin', sure to be indictin' Planned Parenthood for killin' poor, defenseless babies TEXAS*. They found PP did nothing wrong, and the lyin' propagandists with their electronic lynching DID. And that's just a Harris County grand jury. The Attorney General of California (that's a few steps above a county DA) is on their ass and looking to make a case for similar charges as well. As it stands, there are now felony arrest warrants for both the fraudsters' sorry asses in Texas. Maybe Texas and California will get to fight over where these geniuses can serve their first 20 years...
    :fingerscrossed:

Based on the information brought to them by the prosecutor. It doesn't necessarily matter what the evidence actually is, an underhanded manipulative prosecutor can get an indictment out of a Grand Jury even if there is no real evidence, or they can ensure a "no bill", even in the presence of overwhelming evidence incriminating the suspect. It's all based on their presentation and how they convey the facts; basically storytelling. If the prosecution doesn't have integrity, the findings of the Grand Jury aren't worth a hill of beans.

You mean the sting operation that was then edited and used misrepresention in order to reach an already decided outcome ... it is great that these criminals are being sought out and arrested.

When reality comes calling it's time to claim under hand dealing and/or conspiracies ... just as you are doing here.

Planned Parenthood was the ones selling the dead fetuses, not the guys who were indicted.
Besides, if they arent persons, how is it human organ trafficking?

    This is insane.

I'd say the first one. They are charging innocent people for "crimes" (why would it be a crime or human organ trafficking if fetuses arent perosns) that Planned parenthood did. Framing innnocent people for exposing evil.

    - - - Updated - - -

Nah other videos show that Planned Parenthood does sell babies.

Then why did they get in trouble for trying to buy the fetuses? It was obviously just a setup-they werent actually trying to do it.

Because under Texas law, just making the offer to buy human/fetal organs or tissue is illegal. It doesn't matter if there was no actual intent, simply soliciting the sale is enough to earn a year in the Harris County Jail.

They don't have to be persons. They are genetically human, making their organs human organs.

PP was not selling, but CMP was trying to buy as evidenced for them trying to talk PP into a higher reimbursement fee.

The recourse in this case is pretty simple. Complain to the Governor. He has the authority to pardon. A pardon would simplify the continuation of the investigation.

I could ask the obvious question: Why not just stop paying Planned Parenthood 550 Million dollars a year? The CEO takes in a good $600,000 per year (20% increase over last year). That obviously doesn't sound like a charity. Without that money, their influence into the political system would be seriously diminished (by about $1.6 Million per year to buy off politicians).

Do you really believe Congress is just handing over hundreds of millions of dollars to PP to do with as they please? Are you truly that clueless as to how the process works?

CMP: I'll give you $5000 if you will procure dead baby parts for me.

PP: You're obviously a scammer, so -- NO.

CMP made the offer, PP refused. CMP is therefore on the hook for illegally attempting to procure human tissue/organs, and PP is utterly blameless. Coincidentally, that's EXACTLY what that Harris County grand jury decided after watching CMP's videos. It's a beautiful thing, dontcha think?

    - - - Updated - - -

PP never offered or agreed to do business with CMP. This was CMP's circus from the get-go, and CMP bears sole responsibility for how it played out.

They weren't indicted because their accusations and videos were lies but because they used fake I.d.'s and "attempted to buy the fetal body parts Planned Parenthood were supposedly selling. The ruling did not negate the claim they were selling body parts which is why they are Still under investigation. Read the articles. Planned parenthood wasn't on trial. They were not aquited of selling body parts.

So why press more serious charges on them than planned parenthood?

no PP were not selling "dead foetuses" as has been shown in EVERY investigation so far - despite the fact that the alleged crime was selling fetal parts not "dead foetuses".

They were arrested for attempting to buy fetal parts.

It wasn't, that was the allegation which has been shown to be wrong and unlawful as well

nope, the illegal sting, editing and misrepresentation of those zealots has come back to bite them, which is absolutely brilliant
