    As you probably already know I like them.:aww: I had a look at your pictures in the type that I had were much smaller bits of Apple, irregular size.. With sugar on top. But same idea.

    They certainly superior to banana and pineapple fritters, in my opinion.

    Yes, I know those Apfelküchle also in another form.
    The picture in the link is different from those Apfelküchle that I know.

    Apfelküchle are also known as Apfelküchlein, Apfelkücherl, Apfelradl, gebackene Apfelringe, Apfelbeignets and Apfelkrapferl :)
