According to the recently released whistle blower complaint, Trump staffers tried to hide official word-for word transcript of Trump's phone call with by recording the call using the devices which are reserved for classified national security issues. If true, this could be considered abuse of power because use of such systems are legally restricted to legitimate national security issues, and it's against the law to use the system to hide conversations which do not involve national security. This word-for-word transcri[t is NOT the one released by the white house. The transcript released by the white house was based on the memory of staffers in the situation room who listened to the call. The word-for-word transcript is what was being hidden, and passed off as classified even though it wasn't. And the whistle blower claimed that this wasn;t the first time that the Trump administration used the classified electronic recording system to hide conversations which did not involve national security.
They never released the word-for-word transcript. The "transcript" they released was writtened based on what the people who were listening in the situation room remembered from listening. This lawyer does a good job at walking through the information.
From the fact that they said outright that the released version of the transcript was NOT the verbatim (word for word) transcript.
The video I posted featured a lawyer goong through the transcript and complaint, and he also talks about the fact that they illegally filed the full word for word transscript as classified even though it didn't qualify.
The White House released 5 pages of a half hour phone call ...and THAT was damning... One can only imagine what was in the ACTUAL phone call
There are several points in the released versions of the transcript where either Trump or the Ukrainian President talks about things that were mentioned earlier in the call, which do not show up in the transcript. The video I posted discusses this some, stating that some of the wording makes it seem like there may have been more to the actual transcript which was kept out of the printout that was released.
Dude damn near everything qualifies apparently unless you are Trump. If that isn't the verbatim Transcript and that's what you want you'll have to file an FOIA. Hall Obama classified damn near everything that could even remotely be damaging. Compared to Obama Trump is the most transparent president ever or at least since WWII.
Before I could became a whistleblower I would have all the facts, all the proof, all the evidence, and then I would have all my ducks in a row. Those who blow the whistle on something they heard are going out on a limb. Dumb move.
