I personally don't advocate legalizing polygamy specifically. As far as I know the church doesn't either. My own personal belief is that government should leave marriages out of laws period.

Do you believe that you will get your own planet to rule as God when you die?

Do you believe that a special type of underwear will protect you from physical harm?

With all due respect, how could anybody believe Joseph Smith's accounts of how he found these golden tablets and then the Angel took them away?. I'm not trying to be impolite but weren't people really hardheaded in those days, especially about things that went against established Christianity?

Do you guys have those gold tablets that were allegedly given to was it Smith in upstate NewYork ? Are they in the main temple? Who gavecSmith those tablets? Was it a budding or from outer space named Ronzoni or Moroni ?
I am not picking on you because I have to admitt that the Hebrews lost the stone tablets that were given to Moses.

Actually, no, Moses smashed the first set when he saw the camp worship the Golden Calf, the second set of tablets were stored in the Ark of the Covenant along with other items, the manna etc...
The Ark vanished miraculously or was hidden.

Okay so if I am understanding you correctly you are asking if we believe we could have children after death, and that we believe in life before earth? I will answer based on that assessment, if I am wrong please let me know and I will clarify if I can.

Okay so can we have children after death? Yes and no. No, dead people don't have kids. During the 1000 years of peace when Christ will reign personally on the earth, righteous resurrected people will be able to have children, so in that way yes.

As for before earth life, we believe that we were existed as spirit children of God before we came to earth. Its called pre-earth life. We lived with God there and personally knew him. That is where God presented a plan for us to come to earth and obtain bodies similar to the one he has. There is a great youtube video I will link that explains in much greater detail and clarity: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MiF_HKoFr4. Hope that helps. :)

Well, first of all, the church doesn't demand tithes. You can choose not to pay tithing. Secondly, God requires tithing not people, and he asks it so that his children can be taken care of. By the way, tithing is not used to pay any of the clergy. They are all volunteers, and many of them have regular jobs just like anyone else. Tithing also helps to build and maintain church buildings such as Missionary Training Centers, Temples, and chapels. In addition it helps spread the word of God by helping missionaries serve missions to teach people about Christ. So to answer your question, the church is authorized to tithe people under God's authority granted to his living Prophet, and apostles. Thanks for the question. :)

To answer your first question, I have no idea if God plans on giving people planets in the next life. I'll ask him for you when I get there. ;) In all seriousness though, I think there are Mormons who do believe that but I personally believe I will wait to find out.

To answer your second question, the 'underwear' is called the temple garment and it represents covenants made with God. If you keep those covenants, God promises blessings in return. So does the garment itself protect you? No. God does though. Here is a video explaining the garments in a little more detail: https://youtu.be/SkTz_NQqKA8

I agree, it is hard to believe. Honestly, for me its not really necessary to have physical proof of the Gold Plates, just like I don't need physical proof that God exists. Its more of how I feel when I read the Word of God that cements it for me. Thanks for the question. :)

Is it true that the book of mormon used to say black people are cursed by God, and then they removed the scripture when it became politically incorrect to keep it?

Nope, last I heard the angel Moroni took them up to heaven. To answer your second question, he was shown by previously mentioned angel where they were. So in a sense, no one gave them to him, he picked them up himself. :)

No, that is not true. Some Mormons thought that is what it was saying, but obviously they are racist. What it actually was referring to are people who, symbolically, are black because of sin. Not literally black. Except for some minor orthographic changes, The Book of Mormon is the same now as it was in the first edition text wise. There is some font and styling difference too, of course. :) Oh, and just to clarify, that means the scripture is still there. :)

Many churches have collection plates or collection boxes. We depend on our volunteer system. It works very well since the church has immense value.

I certainly agree that tithing works wonders. God promises us if we pay tithing he will open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings. I have personally found that to be absolutely true.

    Malachi 3:10-12

10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.

12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts.

    I see.

Do Mormons dislike Trump as much as the media is making it seem? Based on the people you have observed since you're in the heart of Utah, do you think Hillary will win your state?

I know thats not really the kind of question you are expecting, but quite a few articles are pushing the narrative that she can win it and i find it troubling if true, and you would be the best person to ask.

:roflol: Hillary taking Utah is a very amusing thought. I'd say in the more urban areas there is slightly more support for Hillary, but over all I don't think she would take it. Utahns are more likely to vote for Johnson than Hillary if they don't like Trump. That being said, I think that Utah democrats are very pro Hillary. I personally don't like either Hillary or Trump.

No, he will still take it. There are enough people who see him as slightly less evil than Hillary that he will still take it. Add to that the people who want to vote for Johnson, but feel it would be a wasted vote will also vote Trump. So no, Hillary will never take Utah.
