There is no 'climate change causes fires' argument.
The argument is that climate change makes wildfires more likely and more severe due to droughts.

People commit arson for a wide range of reasons from personal gain to mental illness. Many wildfires in Portugal, for example, are started by firefighters wanting overtime payments and developers wanting to buy cheap land to build on.

If I ever see remote campers that left their fire burning they won't breathe much longer. Then I'll turn back and put the fire out. I got to do the world a favor by doing both.
