    Wrong. Unnamed sources are a critical part of the news. Competent (honest) news outlets require two or more corroborating sources on a given story. This is verification and it's been that way since the Sermon on the Mount.

    What law? Until 1924 we had basically open borders. That's when your ancestors likely came over, (like mine)

    My great grandmother came around 1965-ish, so yeah. Many immigrants came through a legal system, legalized themselves and became either citizens or perm. residents. And I want to hold that expectation for everyone else. I don't think it's a racist or evil thing.

    Under the law when our great grand parents came over, basically anyone could come over. Coming over legally meant stepping off of the boat. The new generation of immigrants faces badly outdated nation-of-origin quotes and other nonsense restrictions that haven't caught up with our nation's actual labor needs. Arbitrary, economically destructive laws are bad laws and they need to be fixed. If you'd like to return to the same permissiveness that we had when your/our ancestors came over though . . .

    If you don't, here and now, then at least here and now it's Fake News, the debunking that is.

    I can't find any debunking, and the story seems reasonably authenticated through multiple sources

    I think many other presidents should have shown anger at the illegal immigration problem. It has to be frustrating that you want to stop it, and yet we have a system, put into place by both parties that want the cheap labor, and so stopping illegal immigration becomes impossible. The system is rigged in order to insure these people keep coming. So trump says, i want to stop this crap, and he is told, no sir, you cannot do jack squat. For the system in place will not allow you to stop it. Gotta be very maddening for trump. And understandable.

    I don't purposely look at everything through Trump-colored glasses and then invoke conspiracies. The lengths you people will go to excuse the God-Emperor for even the smallest transgressions are amazing. Are you trying to emulate his being notoriously thin-skinned?

    Why doesn't the Donald direct his anger towards the CAUSE of the problem instead of at all those "precious lives" ?

    The CAUSE is businesses that HIRE ILLEGALS.


    If they weren't hired they would have no reason to come here.




    Gee, hiring illegals is illegal....there is a law Trump COULD use if he wasn't on the side of business hiring cheap labor....(profit is everything)...
