    I'm surprised with your response.

First of all, if you go to the 1:05 mark in the video you will find that Obama and his choice of words do come up in the interview, and the transcript accurately reflects that.

Secondly, I didn't bash Obama - I bashed Carl Stokes and his race-baiting. In fact, I've made it clear in this thread and elsewhere that I approve of Obama's use of the term thug, since it flies in the face of the antics of mendacious race-baiters like Carl Stokes and all the other clowns who are trying to shield rioters from criticism and personal responsibility and making excuses for their violence and destruction. Further, the use of the term by the president and the mayor of Baltimore implicitly serves to condemn the actions of the rioters and make an important distinction between them and the protesters who are lawfully exercising their First Amendment rights.

So, Barack Obama and Stephanie Rawlings-Blake are not only racists, they're white supremacists. :roflol:

Your race-baiting meme is absolutely hysterical.

There were people arrested and charged as well in Baltimore. Okay now? Are we really to believe the riots were responsible for this? I would say that's pretty primitive justice if so.

IMO it's more like some people are just plain old incapable of taking responsibility for themselves.

Maybe it's been conditioned into 'em by years of .... other people preventing them from taking responsibility for themselves.

    Ya think? Maybe?

Who prevented Carl Stokes from taking responsibility for himself?

He's publicly called out the president so he seems pretty self assured to me.

yes, some passive aggressive racists do use the word "thug" rather than saying the N word.

but other more honest folks don't just refer to black people as thugs, but also refer to terrorists, European football hooligans, violent cops, as thugs.

Killer cops are criminals, when they have no basis for justifiable shooting or death by stranglehold.

    Agreed.

While I have the utmost respect for many of them, many of them do not deserve to wear the badge.

And yet usage of the word does not imply racism. That's what we call a logical fallacy.

Besides, we can argue over the intrinsic meaning of a word all day, it doesn't really matter. It's an exercise in avoiding dealing with the real problem, on both sides of the argument.

And I'm saying that because Obama used that term, or if anyone else uses that term, does not mean they are racists, which is the accusation being leveled by anyone who uses it.

i didn't say that ALL who use that term are racists.

but many are indeed closet racists, or not so closet racists, who have found a new more convenient term to express their racism.

Since I know you hate guns and like to blame white people, here's a double twist for you.

    http://www.news-press.com/story/new...details-fatal-waffle-house-shooting/26750905/

Black shooter, white victim, neither mentioned in the report. Shooter, who did a damn good job showing incredible restraint, exonerated by police, outpouring of support for the shooter from people of all backgrounds.

Do you know why this went down the way it did? He was mature, responsible in his actions, and respectful of authority during the investigation.

If his character is a true reflection of how he handled this individual situation, I'd call him a brother regardless of his skin color.

You see, there are people who hate other people in this world simply based on skin color. The individuals in the KKK and the NBP are no different beneath their skin, and had they been born the other color they would simply be in the opposite group.

If I hate someone, its because of what they stand for, not how they look.
