https://www.uawire.org/intense-fighting-in-belgorod-region-sparks-alarm-among-russian-war-bloggers Yep....active evacs underway in Belgorod....I'm learning Grayvoron has been evacuated? Grads on numerous corners of Belgorod city....and it could possibly end up looking like Bakmut....I sure hope so!....this is a clear indicator that Mafialand can't secure its borders.....it'll be a free for all. Oil refineries getting hit daily.... Bangers in Crimea again today. Macron indicated a strong possibility of French troop in Odesa in spring.
Not welcome news for the “We are the Russia. Lower your shields and surrender your ships. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Resistance is futile” crowd.
So Macron in his Napoleon obsession intends to actually go through with this. And given the inner city Russian conflicts, while this seems like a good opportunity for the West, I actually think the Russian brass will commit further atrocities if French forces enter Odessa.
The Institute for the Study of War, a neocon outlet in Washington, reported on the cross-border incursions in some detail on March 12. In successive reports, there were fewer mentions until they seem to have disappeared in the March 15 report. This probably confirms various social media reports that the Russians knew the attacks were coming, were prepared for them, and decisively defeated them with heavy losses for the Ukrainian forces. https://understandingwar.org/backgrounder/russian-offensive-campaign-assessment-march-12-2024 https://understandingwar.org/backgrounder/russian-offensive-campaign-assessment-march-13-2024 https://understandingwar.org/backgrounder/russian-offensive-campaign-assessment-march-14-2024 https://understandingwar.org/backgrounder/russian-offensive-campaign-assessment-march-15-2024
Day 3 ...Russian liberation forces continue shelling Belgorod.....these aren't "UAF". https://x.com/igorsushko/status/1768877787937718666?s=20
They are the Russian Volunteer Corps and The Freedom for Russia Legion which are supposedly Russian anti-Putin dissidents. They are operating from Ukraine and undoubtedly under the direction of the Ukrainian special forces command. There are reports that they also contain some people from other than Ukraine and Russia.
Sounds about right. But why do you call the Institute for the Study of War a "neocon outlet"? That's the sort of thing an angry Z propagandist might say.
Other reports claiming "individuals from other than Ukraine & Russia"? I'll wait and see these"other" reports....if theyre from RuZzian sources...I suspect they're doctored. At 5:30 pm Moscow time....heavy shelling on Belgorod by MLRS....current evacs are being implemented.
Their president is Kimberley Kagan, wife of Frederick Kagan, who is the son of Donald Kagan and nephew of Robert Kagan. Robert Kagan was a founder of the Project for a New American Century, and all three were signatories. ISW's Board also includes William Kristol, the other co-founder of PNAC. Robert Kagan's wife is Victoria Nuland. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Institute_for_the_Study_of_War
And you believe these people are neocons and that they alone make it such an outlet? I see nothing like that in their publications. They simply research and report facts from various conflicts. Facts, mind you, not Z propaganda.
Well at least you got my point that they were part of the US foreign policy establishment and that they were not associated with Russian propaganda. Therefore, their one day coverage of the Ukrainian incursion into Russia, followed by fading interest, likely indicates that it did not go well.
