    Thats! it Slo Jo, you and your Liberal Democratic croonies destroy the American economy in 22 months and all you can say is it will get WORSE! if Republicans take over the House. Ya know, this Dipship is probably right, because it's gonna take awhile to fix this awful mess the Democrats in control of this country have created, but I'll take my chances with the Republicans to eventually reverse this catastrophe.

    Republicans would definitely be energy friendly and that would have nothing but positive effects across the whole spectrum of the economy.

    Of course it is going to get worse. That it was heading in the 'worse' direction was in play before January, 2020. It had/has nothing to do with Biden or whoever POTUS might be. It is World economics. It is happening all over the Planet.

    Powell’s transitory inflation wasn’t transitory;

    Fact; FOMC started raising their funds rate when the YoY inflation rate rose to 7.6%.

    please reference the chart in post #5

    You are welcome to tell any lie you wish, as well as believe that lie. It does not however make it factual. I guess supporting all things Democrat is more important than the situation of the regular folks

    I do not know if anyone could out do the democrats when it comes to inflation. Even Jimmy Carter is amazed at how bad democrats have screwed things up.

    Don't worry, inflation is never a fault of the current president, it is always a fault of someone else. Not only inflation, do you remember who one president blamed for the lack of coronavirus tests, the lack of medical supplies, for the lack of air-condition in the White House and more...

    When it comes to the politics of blaming, Democrats and Republicans are the same, for example;

    Republicans; “The steep rise in prices occurred under Biden’s watch”

    Democrats; “The lockdowns occurred under Trump’s watch”

    That's a stupid thing to say by Biden. Because it's really in the hands of the Fed.

    Now, watching the Fox News video, I tuned out when the first pundit claimed that J. Powell is the Dem's Fed chair. No, lady, he was actually nominated by Trump. And Trump was the one who continued pestering him for lower interest rates.

    An then there is the stupid argument that gas was below $3 per gallon in 2020. Duh... We were in the middle of a worldwide pandemic at that time. Anyone wants to go back to it, just to get $2.20 gas? I don't.

    But, that's the problem, conservatives get brainwashed by these Fox News pundits 24/7, and then they think that the lies they hear are the actual truth and that they are "informed". It's actually laughable, if it wasn't so sad and bad for the country.

    No link for that chart but whatever. You are not able to deny that inflation is going through the roof all over the Planet, not just the USA.

    Biden is Jimmy Carter Redux with respect to the economy. There is one difference. Jimmy Carter was a humble and soft spoken man who was sincere. Biden is an arrogant blowhard.

    Biden campaigned on killing gas and on day one he cancelled pipelines and increased the drilling royalty fees by 50%. His attack on fossil fuels, the same fuels that made his son millions, causes concern about future supplies and the price goes up. Biden then begs Saudi Arabia and other countries to pump more oil, but then we have to absorb the cost of transporting it half way across the world.

    Everything moves by gas and oil. Once you attack it and put it in danger the price goes up the same way the price of AR15s went up under Obama and how everyone wanted to get one before there were none left.

    You also have to remember that Biden said the quiet part out loud when he told us were 'transitioning' away from oil. Behind the scenes that term must have been used a lot by the global warming radicals when they planned on how they were going to get us to switch to EVs. As the midterms get closer, have you heard any democrats calling for people to use EVs? They're pretty quiet about it now when they once talked about it 24/7. They know the public is catching on to their forced transitioning via attacking oil and making it more expensive.

    He was elected to lead the country and claimed HIS economic policies would be best. Wrong on all accounts they have been a disaster starting with his energy policy and then his fiscal policy. HIS policies no one else's. Our inflation is OUR inflation caused by the expansion of OUR money supply without the production output to match it and Biden and the Dems DESIRE for higher prices for oil and gas to drive the economy away from them. Then his totally unnecessary hundreds of billions of helicopter money and he wants even MORE of it.

    The fiscal and regulatory policy of the United States is in the hands of Biden and the Dems in Congress not the FED.

    Indisputable Fact; OPEC recently agreed to cut oil production by 2 million barrels a day, and subsequently, fuel prices may rise again.

    Question; Due to a number of non-political reasons, what happens when refinery capacity drops by 2 million barrels a day, and during a period when there’s an excessive demand for fuel?

    Anyone?

    The inflation that Biden and the Dems unleashed isn't 'transitory' it's persistent and destructive.
    And we told you as soon as they said it that it was self-serving crap.

    Why Biden and the Dems Officially Own the Inflation Disaster

    'Joe Biden has attempted to blame various scapegoats, from Russian President Vladimir Putin to big corporations, for the nation's inflation woes. But thanks to the latest data and his own promises, the president officially owns the inflation disaster.'

    'We just got yet more alarming metrics from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, showing inflation rising 8.2% from September 2021 to September 2022 — with double-digit increases in key goods from food to energy and beyond. This is the last inflation update we will receive before the November midterm elections, dealing a death blow to whatever hope Democrats had that inflation would ease before voters head to the polls. Remember when it was "transitory?"'

    We'll never forget.

    'Remember, Biden signed the Inflation Reduction Act into law in August. He promised this bill would "fight inflation and lower costs for American families." Just on Sept. 13, the president had a celebratory event at the White House touting how awesome the plan was. Now, just a month later, we’re still seeing disastrous price increases. Oh, and real wages (adjusted for purchasing power) are declining, not rising. Wasn’t the president’s legislation supposed to stop this?'

    It was Biden and the Dems robbing the treasury with both fists before the voters threw them out. The Lame Duck Congress will try another raid after the election.

    I have no idea if he said his economic policies would be best. However, I have every expectation he did say exactly that. It is one of the oldest political hacks in the playbook, and both sides use it. It is an easy claim to make and it is impossible to disprove. "Interest rates will always be lower while my Party is in Government." How do you prove that wrong when the basic fact is....no other Party, at the relevant time, is capable of providing a comparison as they are NOT in Government.
