It looks like Biden just bought 150,000 votes by cancelling $1.2 billion in student loan debt. But not to fear, Biden said cancelling these debts helps people who didn't go to college and don't have that debt.

First it was subsidized healthcare, then student debt, what will the next democrat presidential candidate offer voters for free?

What's the problem? The truckers, power plant operators, cops, EMTS, firemen/women/theys and everyone else that keeps us safe will have to start doing some more overtime to pay for irresponsible blue haired brats that took on a loan they couldn't pay.
    What's the problem?
This is perfect left wing politics at its finest. Embrace the glory of the future!

Lefty professors get to keep the money for teaching unmarketable skills, and those making bad choices get to place the burden on those making wise choices. At this point, they might as well combine voting machines and ATM machines.

The beneficiaries of these vote buying schemes couldn't care less.

Just look around, they are here defending Biden and these programs.

Democrats are literally willing to sell out the country to stay in power. Just like they will let the illegals over run the border for the same purpose.

Is there some kind of training program for losers? Teach you how to live in mom's basement, struggle with emotional distress, vote democrat? Where do these people come from?

So you would rather the money be spent on illegals. Got it.

I would not feel happiness knowing that I got ripped off and that I passed the loss on to those working to support their own families. I would never want to be a burden on society.

Adulting is overrated so I’d rather not. Plus no high schooler is ever told they have to pay back loans once they get accepted so….

It ironic how the left says the wealthiest states with the most educated people are the ones who need to be bailed out by Biden.

Taxpayer provided does not equal free

It is a benefit to our citizens and education has been shown to have one of the highest returns of investment a nation can fund right behind healthcare.

Healthcare, childcare, retirement, and education are all things funded by taxpayer funds in other nations that have shown to have a massive impact on citizens happiness.

So to answer your question, I would anticipate after education the next one will likely be childcare or healthcare.

Adulting does suck, I do find their arguments specious if not slightly cognitive dissonant though.

I don’t understand why forgiving burdensome debt that is preventing entire generations from being able to progress to the next chapter of their lives such as homeownership or starting a family when everyone just shrugged at businesses receiving hundreds of thousands to a million in PPP grants regardless of need.

Home ownership and starting a family are already difficult enough as it is, in addition to just trying to make sure one can stay afloat physically, mentally and financially on a daily basis.

The right freaks out about our declining population numbers but don’t seem to want to do anything to promote it (outside of turning women into unwilling incubators).

A 'useful' education has a high return on investment, not the garbage some people walk away from college with these days.

Instead of cancelling student debt, why doesn't anyone ask why college is so expensive? I saw a story a year or so ago where it was either a college in Michigan or Minnesota that had 55% of all tuition going toward retirement benefits for professors and admins.
