Many 101 classes are general. There’s no other way to do it. But if YOU change YOUR mind, that’s on YOU, not the school. Some kids might not know but many do. Being prepared is YOUR responsibility. Changing your mind is a CHOICE, and if that results in wasted class that’s YOUR fault. Personal responsibility.

Just like taking out loans at a private school instead of state school or even community college increases costs. Know what you’re doing BEFORE you do it.

That’s the parents job when raising a child. Prepare THEM. It’s not societies responsibility to give your kid direction. But it’s the parent or child’s responsibility for being indecisive.
